This story is a masterpiece of found family, overcoming struggles and loss. It is one of the few works that have genuinely made me cry. The characters are deep and emotional and easy to connect with and get attached to. There are several plot lines in this book that go unanswered that are likely answered in the other books by this author. If you love stories about finding love and protecting those close to you I highly recommend it.
