Description

Becoming a God isn't supposed to be this easy.

Sure, Sammi might've been speeding, but everyonespeeds. She was in a rush! It's not her fault that the previous God of Schemes never made a habit of looking both ways before crossing the street.

Unfortunately for Sammi, she's now in charge of taking up the mantle, and all the baggage that comes with it. Sure the powers are cool, but they're a lot of responsibility too. And leveling up to get strongershouldbe easy, but who knows what kind of wrenches the world might throw in Sammi's direction? Still, with her threefamiliarsbest friends and a few mortals she's picked up along the way, this'll be a cinch.

How hard can a few schemes be?

What happens when an unqualified airhead becomes a god? Total disaster. Sammi panics easily under stress and doesn't always think through her plans. This is made worse when she has the ability to make people believe in her half-baked lies.....A fun story that keeps you entertained with each twist and turn. How does one predict a plot when the main character herself has no idea what she's doing?
Style: The story being from Sammi's point of view means we get to be in her head as she works through (and gets distracted from) schemes she's trying to complete. This makes a very amusing writing style.
Characters: Sammi is fun to watch but to make it better is her peanut gallery of ghost friends who have a range of different distinct personalities. I would like to say they are the voice of reason for Sammi but frankly all of them share one brain cell. They do keep her on track and from fall on her face (most of the time) so she has that going for her.
Grammar: I didn't notice any big grammatical errors and was able to stay engaged in the story.
Story: I knew it was going to be good from the summary and so far I haven't been disappointed. Sammi stumbling through her new godpowers while being scolded by her ghost friends (who she mistakenly killed) was something I didn't know I needed.
