Love it. Great story fun leveling system, and very cute Knife Waifu! Only negative comment I have is that there's not enough chapters for me to consume, I saw that your on a break I hope that it isn't being Abandoned and you get back to writing asap! Can't wait to see more chapters and I can't help but wonder will we have a magic Waifu as well? Or maybe two royal love Interests!?

Super interesting idea for the litrpg category would like to see a little more character development but it's really early also easy to follow the story and understand the authors intent which is a plus. I don't really have anything else to write but we have to meet the word limit to post a review

I don't think I can review the story properly with one chapter, but I'll give my opinion and try to boost its popularity a little.
I like the premise - the Isekai protagonist can only develop through grinding his stats with practice, which implies a future of hard training with long term benefits and a lot of "never giving up" and "reaping the rewards of hard work", which is always a hit with all us lazy people, since it means we can work hard vicariously through the character, haha.
I'm already loving the characters, and I've only had one chapter to get to know them! They all have plenty of personality and feel well-developed and multidimensional, which is to be expected from Argentorum, really. I particularly like the Knight Captain, not gonna lie, since she seems like a complex character, and not just a cardboard cutout for the MC to overshadow, as it usually is.
The RPG system is classic, but interesting, reminding me a little of "This Quest is BS!", except the quests are small-time and keep coming. The Worldbuilding also bodes well, with politics and international standing being discussed right in chapter 1 - I've really got a good feeling about this one.
Honestly, Royal Blood is shaping up to be another gem among Royal Road chaff, just like Devil's Foundry, and I for one can't wait to see what this fantastic author has in store for us all next!

Very promising series. I will be keeping myself updated on this. This is definetely of higher quality than most other royal road series. I really hope the author writes either multiple books or makes this a long one. The premise of the story is, in my opinion, the aspect of the series that is most interesting.

I'm beginning to find Royal Road's rating system to be a bit arbitrary. The longer I'm here the more I realise that a less than 5* review on a good story is almost worthless. The way the metrics work you're generally looking at 4.5 stars and upwards for a new story as a reader otherwise you are concerned about quality. Anything less and it often isnt worth picking up.
I'll tell you now I'll happily give this story 5*. Maybe thats just a personal judgement because I like it but I don't care. Maybe this story does not hit the highest heights of classical literacy excellence. But god damn is it well written regardless, more importantly it is evocative and enjoyable to read. So far it has been a smoothly executed, high octane thrill and I am excited to see where it goes. Dear author please continue to produce such fine work, you'll always have a reader in me.

Story is still in its early stage but it has a lot of potential. Mc is well written and funny, not too many side characters yet which I'm fine with. The MCs advantage or "cheat" is interesting and definitely looking forward to how it plays out in the story. The System seems pretty standard so far compared to most litrpgs, but it's still early in the story so more intricacies can come up later. Overall it's great so far and definitely recommend reading it.

The book itself is mostly consistent with the power system and has mostly likable characters so far. The world and power system are also being fleshed out before our eyes without any infodumps. There also doesn't seem to be any jumps in logic so far. Other than the obvious power scaling issues that all of the people reading the story see obviously, there is also the issue of 'this didn't need to be an isekai'. In fact, the story itself would be much better without it being an isekai. I'm well aware that making the main character from another world lets the author not have to write about their childhood trauma or some shit, and I do think that they do isekai better than most novels especially with the morals of our mc. In my opnion though, the isekai itself is unecessary and the story itself would be better without it.

First of all, let's start with the basics: It's a reincarnation LitRPG story. Unlike a lot, though, the main character is not immediately OP. In fact, his blessing starts off seeming a terrible curse, lowering his ability to level. While it seems likely to eventually equal out, slow starting growth that leaves him a pariah in his youth, he might eventually make up for it, if he lives long enough and gets the chance.
So the main caveat is he can't get xp through quests, the normal way. Monsters are rare, making xp through battle difficult. But he doesn't have normal restrictions on gaining XP through stat levelling. Which is slow, and leaves his stats greatly lowered, because if he dumps any level points into a stat, it becomes harder to level naturally.
What this means is it's a story where the character is actually incentizied to not just spent points on stats to raise them. It's a fantastic turn on normal stat-raising and leveling giving stat points, and something I've long wanted to see done.

This story very much feels nostalgic in a way — to me at least.
It brings me back to some of the earliest webnovels I ever read.
On paper it follows the footsteps of those strories closely: Starting off with a tried and true underdog premise, then developing into a direction, that has ample potential for unbridled e d g e.
Yet this story never really gives in to the edge that those early webnovels were so very steeped in. Instead it strikes a delicate balance between that edgyness and levity.
It's very cognisant of the tropes it's indulging, the main character himself remarking upon them... Perhaps a bit too much at times.
Yet, I wouldn't go as far as to call it a parody either. While it is very tongue and cheek, it doesn't deviate from the setup to the point of actively undermining it.
I could see people accusing this story of lampshading... And they're not wrong, exactly. But I think if the story were to be stripped of that lampshading, it would lose that balance of edge and levity, that allows the author to actually play this premise rather straight.
Honestly... This story almost comes of as a celebration of those old, by now, very worn stories — It knows they are flawed, it makes sure you know it knows they're flawed, but it also embraces those flaws wholesale and manges to turn them into a truly enjoyable read.
On the topic of a certain character, many comments and reviews are remarking on:
I honestly don't see the problem many have with her and her interactions with the main character.
The main character is a child in this setting and his companion and friend is a teenager — Having him only keep company with adults would be a lot weirder in my eyes.
Their interactions are playful and the main character refers to her, as wouldn't be out of place in this self-aware story, as a 'waifu' several times, yet their interactions never came off as flirtatious to me and the main character has made it very clear in multiple instances that he isn't interested in either sex

This is a good novel.  I expected high quality after reading his other book, and this doesn't disappoint.
I like the MC, and the way he is turning his weakness into a strength.  As of chapter 14 he is still pretty weak though.  No instant OP here, any strength he gains feels earned.
Plot is pretty good, no boring bits and there is an interesting central mystery.  Characters are good, but I am not a fan of one of the side characters, she is too much of a characteriure right now.  Other than that, all good things.
