Spoilers: I didn't see the mechs or the colony ship coming at all. From a pebble to a planet and back again. Can't hate on a good loop. I thought the ranger getting killed was the best death out of them all. It was nice that the bard got another chance to make music.

If there is a type of story I like, it's taking an absurd concept to it's illogical conclusion. For every story with a silly premise, it takes a stong writer to stay commited to the bit, and to do it well.
It's a nice story about a rock. This rock is just like any hundreds around it, not particularly pretty, not particularly smooth, and not particularly spiny; the type of rock that would only cause slight annoyance if it were to be found stuck in your boot.
This rock does not get stuck in a boot. it gains limited power, then harnasses it to the logical extreme, all whilst patiently waxing philosphical about the ways of its life.
An nice, mid-length story, one that you would sit down in an armchair, or with a nice cup of hot chocolate, and read through in an cold winter afternoon, and come out the other side having thuroughly enjoyed the experience.

This is a great short story with a great ending. I don't know how to explain it but the story just works well you know it's somehow relatable and understandable but still has a great and well written fantasy element to it.
Idk it's just great, 10/10 would 100% read again for the first time.

    I laughed. I cried. I-
    Bonk.
Rock Falls, Everyone Dies is an incredible story about a hero. It isn't your standard, sword wielding, shield-blocking hero, but rather that of a pebble who grows into a mighty hero. The character of the rock is well-rounded, given the epic quest to reach the bottom of the mountain and the courage topaz the test set before it. With this comes a desire to grow- an apatite for experience and a lode of potential. I would like to, primarily, chalk it up to the author's excellent craft of character. The world surrounding the rock, even, is a gneiss construction of fantasy that, while staying conventional, plays with our expectations (particularly regarding the skeletal naming convention). If I'm onyxst, I only find interest in the extremely well-crafted Lit-RPG, and while I do enjoy numbers go up I feel that it takes a lot more, something such as this, in order to hook me in. The rock feels real in its reactions to gaining its strength, and of quartz uses this motivation to keep the ball rolling throughout the whole story. This story in particular is a monolith, a brilliant example that all Lit-RPGs should follow in system and flow. I wish I could say anything bad about this story, but my views here are clearly set in stone and I think you get the schist.
I recommend that you stop what you're doing and read this marbelous story right now, before it is too slate for you!

At this point there arent many chapters to the story but the chapters that are there are great and you can get through the current chapters in about an hour if your short on time and want a quick read
info about the mc: A rock that gained sentience and then proceeded to crack some domes and grow in weight and size as well as busted skills while rolling down a mountain

I'm supremely pleased with this rock solid story. The pace rolled along at a perfect clip, and the MC's actions felt weighty and meaningful. The protag was well rounded, and the character growth felt very earned. I know some thought that he had a bit of a stoney personality, but that's the thing with non human MCs. You don't want them to just be differently shaped humans, you want them to feel alien, yet somewhat familiar. Overall, I really enjoyed my time with and their numbers-go-shenanigans.

I hope this story rockets to the top of Rising Stars, as it deserves.  I heartily chuckled at many parts, and enjoyed this greatly.  This is a worthwhile time investment.
The style is light and humorous, with fun puns, and the traditionally blue boxes are now grey.  Fitting for a rock star.  The writing of the story matches the tone the writer is probably going for.  There are cultivation battles and titanic struggles, and our protagonist doesn't care, because it's a rock!
I found myself invested in the rock's journey downward.  That I was interested in the course of gravity is telling for how the plot progresses.  Keeps on Tumbling Down, Tumbling Down.
Good puns that don't require grammar to be mangled.  Nothing egregious pops out.  No arrows to be 'knocked' so automatically a plus.  Just have to say that the grammar rocks.
The rock rocks.  End of story.  Oh and I guess all those other suckers are there too.  They had things like wants and desires and drives, but who cares about things like that?  Rocket power!

Fun, light-hearted, thought provoking. Leaves you wanting more. Can be turned into a proper try hard hero journey, but fortunately the author is wise and tells a hearth warming story :)
Without much spoilers: A journey of a little rock, who knows it might end up conquering the system itself ! But would a rock which has soared to such heights relish in destruction ?

The MC is a stone cold killer! No matter what genre he ventures into the MC just rocks.
The first high fantasy, cultivation, space opera, mecha, litrpg i have read!
This has been a fun read. The story seems to know what it is and does it well. The MC actually has a character arc that makes sense? I think.? Well from its point of view? As much as a pebble character can. The author leaned in hard to the tropes that have been lampooned. This is well written and hilarious. No glaring problems with edditing. If you want something light hearted its definitely worth the read.

That was glorious in the beginning it's funny, perfectly encapsulating the thought process of a rock in the middle I guessed but the ending was going to be, but all that did was make me more excited to see it and the ending was perfect tying everything into a nice little bow this is definitely a must read.
