Description

What do you do when you and a group of people are summoned to another world to stop the Demon King and your brother becomes the Demon King? The answer to that is quite diverse, but Aiden had one. In an attempt to save his brother, Aiden is caught in a clash of spells between the Demon King and a mythical opponent, suffers 'recommended' termination at the hands of the very system that had been a part of his life since being summoned, and wakes up back in the beginning, on the day of their summoning. With past experiences and knowledge, he's got a second go at it, and Aiden Lacheart has no intentions of allowing his brother become the Demon King once more. The only problem is... he doesn't think he's the only one who's come back in time.

I'm not one to write reviews, but I just decided to share my thoughts on this story because, why not?Anyway, I got recommended this story after reading some of the author's other works, and at first, I was skeptical. From the overview, it was clear this was a regression-type story, and personally, I don’t usually enjoy those. I left it on my virtual shelf for almost a month before finally deciding to give it a shot, and oh boy, was I proven wrong! In one word, this story is AMAZING. The main character (MC) is smart and likable. Yes, he has his flaws, as any well-written MC should, but they don't take away from his overall appeal. The supporting characters feel real and don't just exist for the sake of the MC. They have their own goals and flaws, which is one of the reasons I love this author’s writing. I tend to focus more on side characters than the MC at the beginning of a story to decide if it's worth following. I’d rather follow a story where the MC is unlikeable but the side characters are well-developed than the other way around. One of the things this story excels at is dialogue. There is plenty of action, sure—tons, in fact—but what really stood out to me was the character interactions. They feel genuine and not forced. And finally, the world-building is excellent. I don’t have much to say about it other than that the power system, especially with its use of LitRPG elements, is one of the best I’ve seen.Overall, it’s a solid 5/5 story. The only downside is the release schedule, but I get it—masterpieces take time. Plus, the author is also simultaneously updating another story, so I won’t complain too much.(Side note: Yes, I know I’m glazing the heck out of this story)

There are many isekai/returnee/transmigrator stories. They often fall short in one area,  be it the pacing, the power curve, character growth or dialgue. The thing that sets this a part ROTLE apart is that the author has smoothly woven and integrated these elements very skillfully in the story and they are apart of why this sotry is so fun to read and so engaging. The story revolves around a Returnee, but not to his original world, he was isekaied, then returned to his isekaied world with his memories in tact. What his allows for is a character that is not powerful but who knows how to become powerful and has set plans on how to get there. Becuase of this, Aiden very rarely feels like he has zero agency, but that while not in full control, that he has options.I find this to be more of a character driven story, all the elements of the story that push the narrative forward revolve around a character's decisions , actions and the consequences that brings. The interaction between Aiden and his brother is a highlight in character development.  You get to see what is somewhat a fractured relationship mature into easy comradery even if there are still moments of tension. It is through this lens of the love of family that pushes Aiden to make the choices he makes, even the ones that are rash. The power /class system is easy to follow and is designed around and closely linked to things people spend their life doing, so it is a reflection of one self.It then can be futher customised by learning a sorta of signature skill that is often unique to the person. So that two people can have the same class but almost never the same signature skill.  It makes for a fun and interesting read as there are no easy references to know what will happen next, so there is always a constant surprise. The auther also does well in that there are elements of the story that we know that the Main characters do not. This is immediately fun in that it allows the readers to speculate , anticipate and be more

Beautifully written. There are very few Litrpg stories that can seamlessly blend in a steady growth of power into a story line while also not rushing the MCs growth. The narrative focuses mainly on the MC, but also has small passages from other characters point of view that enhance the narrative description told. Overall, phenomenally written and would highly recommend to anyone who enjoys litrpgs.

The worldbuilding in this story is very strong. While I can’t easily visualise some surrounding, the story often presents aspects of the world that hint at a deep history and culture. The author might not have included every historical and cultural detail of the world, but he has given enough for you and me to imagine that something happened in the past to get to the current present.
Characters are also well-developed with their own personal goals and journeys and we sometimes get to see things from different POVs which I personally like in a story.
The story often hints at future events that have great consequences and that shaped the MC in his past life and is written in a way that gives a feeling of anticipation for those events to happen and what will be different in this life.
Overall, so far, this story is a 10/10 for me and I can’t wait for more!

A great story with interesting and fun characters. I feel like I can relate to or enjoy every major character in one way or another. The writing style is a bit poetic at times, often using flowery language for the descriptions, and sometimes the author uses interesting word choices like "stem of the tree" rather than "tree trunk," for example, which makes me think the author might not be a native English speaker, but 99% of it is well-written, and the few grammar and word choice errors really don't detract from the story at all. The magic system is pretty interesting and somewhat unique while still being recognizable and understandable. I wouldn't mind a little more exposition on how various classes and skills work, but that's just because I like to know everything about a magic system. Nothing is missing that relates directly to the story. The time travel aspect is well addressed without becoming overly complicated, so far. In my opinion, the story has a good mix of comedy, angst, suspense, and adventure. It is one of the best isekai/time travel fix-it stories I've found on this site for a while.
I can't wait for the next chapter update.

So I binged this awesome story over the weekend, and I have to say this is a fun one. I am enjoying how the world is being built up and especially how the the whole time travel bit is being handled. There are so many loose ends right now and hints of things waiting to be explained that I'm hooked.  Do yourself a favor and add this to your follow and favorites list!

It's fun, confusing in a mystery sort of way, and overall a great read. Definitely recommend.
Oh apparently there is a word count for reviews, but I'm too lazy to count currently.
I hope everyone reading this has a great day, and be nice to the author so he finishes this book.

It's a good book. There is a planned out plot, lots of secrets to come, and juicy progression. Dialogue is well done, no obvious plot-holes or contrivances, and the flow is nice. Other than that, I don't really know what to say so I'll keep writing until I'm at 50 words.

I love the world building. The author managed to come up with a believable way to keep the nobles at least reasonably sane and it shows. The main character's knowledge of the future is both useful and suspect as things change so it's a nice balance between it being completely useless and it being a cheat code. The main character is competent without falling into the hyper competent trap that some people do or the trap where he's supposed to be competent but keeps making stupid choices. I'm enjoying as things as the cast expands and the MC has to expand his circle of friends.

Really good story.  One of the few stories I read on RR that I read immediately, not waiting for chapters to accumulate.I guess my favorite aspect is the brotherhood between the main character Aiden and his assigned knight Sir Valdan. Valdan and his relationship with Aiden are very endearing to me.The dialogue is a bit strange, though. Very theatrical and dramatic. I don't think people talk that way in real life.  One of the best examples of this odd dialogue is chapter 57.
