(I had dropped this at chapter 12 because I assumed something, but my worries were unfounded after reading the rest)
There was character development. Adventuring. Some warfare. And betrayal.
The storytelling was interchangeable in how good it was. Can be a bit bland of you don't like the characters.
There is certainly a realistic and darker theming going on. But it really didn't show in some parts.
There is a 'system'. it's just status. A boring way to show how strong the MC had grown, but alright.
The grammar was fine. Maybe some odd wording, but nothing too distracting.
