- petRoyal Road★★★★★ 5.0So it go's like this girl transports into a "new" world and sickly body where she has to win by getting better and crushing her spoiled "sister" in becoming a top movie star as well as rubbing it in her bio family's face, The system is not good at it's job but it is trying its best with what it's got, the story starts slow at first but it just eggs you on to see the "sister" fall and fail
- librarysmilesRoyal Road★★★★ 3.5Once upon a time there was another villainess redemption story.
Twenty five chapters in, the main character is still trying to survive when she should have been dead in the first chapter. The story hasn't entered the main celebrity drama and there definitely isn't any signs of revenge.
The goal so far is to complete system tasks and live. This is an average story of a lady at work. - 1eyeinskyRoyal Road★★★ 3.0This feels Beat for beat like a Chinese novel without the stamina of one. usually in the Chinese novel of this variety, they are finished by chapter 80 with the whole plot with the male lead and the revenge, and having a good ending, and then once that is done, they switch the pivot to another world, and the same thing repeats with some differences so if you do enjoy Chinese novels with an English twist as in the names are different then you can read this and probably enjoy it note that there’s only one plot.
- Kaiser72Royal Road★★★ 2.5this is a generic Villainess story, it starts with the MC being reincarnated as a villainess in a story, (although the story makes absolutely zero sense) and the MC has to rise the ranks of the acting world to enact revenge on the evil Heroine. however, the story, as they generally do transitions into a romance between the MC and
Kaiser Greyson
the style is decent and the characters are not the worst even if it is quite similar to every other villainess novel so I would probably rate this ~3.5 if it weren't for the MC and the Haitus point, where the book leaves off specifically the Fight arc the MC is enragingly annoying, she refuses to communicate with the ML and even when she does she doesn't explain anything, she never acknowledges wrongdoing, and refuses to hear out the other party. Context:
The MC goes on a date with a known love interest, and sleeps in his house without messaging the ML (due to her phone running out of charge) (additionally, they are dating (I think it's strangely unclear)).
When confronted she acts as if nothing is wrong and then starts using non-sequitur arguments to deflect. The MC comes across as overly self-assured, and the novel will readily point out the hypocrisy and flaws of others such as Kaiser and Rio but doesn't give the MC the same treatment.
