Description
“Commander! What are the orders?!” He felt someone grab and shake his shoulder. As he slowly turned his head to the owner, his eyes hazy eyes meeting an old man in blue robes and pointed hat’s.
He was pointing at the tsunami like wave of demonic creatures, swarming them like ants. Their eyes showing nothing but hatred and hunger, tearing apart the first human they came in contact with.

Interesting world building. You don't see a lot of underground settings, and I like the use of a different kind of magic system that isn't entirely appealing to get access to, and comes with costs / benefits. Also seems to be more balanced. Misunderstood emo MCs levelling OP ultra-violence for poorly established grudges against their teenage bullies gets old, so I appreciate that there are things happening that are bigger than the MC's life. - chillipepperRoyal Road★★★★★ 5.0Enjoyed the description , I was able to see what I was reading in my head. Excited to see more, interested in why Jack is important for the "job". Looking forward for next chapter. Very nice WETHAZZ
How do Avery and Fint know each other?
what is their connection?
who is the boss?
what is their goal or mission?
who is the guy bossing them around and who is his boss?
really enjoyed the story
these are the questions I'm left with and looking forward to find out when the next chapter or chapters are available
I thought the grammar was very good
courious about what the tittle to that chapter means but is very intriguing
I enjoy sci-fi/fiction/expense movies, books and podcasts
This seems to be right up my alley and don't think I'll be dissatisfied if it continues the way it has
would like it to be a podcast in the future since I typically listen to them to get through the day when im at work
Hoping what I read about above continues to leave me guessing and waiting /eager for the next chapter
i do not like that I have too write 200 words to give a review
I am because I typically don't write reviews unless it really something that I enjoyed
so here is my review
I enjoyed the reading
hope to see more sooner than later in the future - HWPerfidyRoyal Road★★★★★ 4.5Story: The story is about two people, Avery and Flynt, trying to kidnap Jack. There’s a lot of action scenes, fills just about every chapter, making the story a pretty exciting read. There also seems to be a lot of weird magic stuff going on, giving the story a nice whimsical vibe.
However, I found myself a bit confused as to what was going on. Jack seems to be pretty okay with getting kidnapped, and seems to run away from what I presume to be his rescuers, to the point that I start getting confused about who’s against who or whether they’re all in cahoots with each other. One moment people are having a nice conversation, then they open a door and bodies come out, and then for some reason this is insulting to the cast, and then they’re fighting it out.
That was an exciting twist. Definitely wasn’t expecting that, though it was foreshadowed nicely in the previous chapters.
Style: The style is very detailed, with a bunch of descriptions for the various locations that the characters pass through. It helps paint a picture of each location, making it feel as if you’re seeing it right in front of your eyes.
The dialogue gets a bit confusing since there doesn’t seem to be a lot of dialogue tags. As a result, the reader is left guessing as to who’s talking.
This is the first time I’ve seen an elevator being described as immaculate. I guess it must be a pretty sweet elevator.
Grammar: No mistakes I could see.
Character: Jack seems awfully nonchalant about getting kidnapped, even going over to see if his kidnappers are okay instead of running when they’re down. Character allegiances are confusing. I can’t really say too much about their personalities since the lack of dialogue tags makes it a tad hard to place who’s who. But from those that I was able to tell, they seem to have pretty vibrant personalities, that are clearly shown through their actions and their lines.
Overall: A pretty cool story. It made for a fun read.
