Two centuries ago the world changed when the first Returned appeared at the execution of the former Dark King of Shylban. The Returned are beings of ultimate power, far exceeding the regular abilities and pale of magic. Heralding change within the world, as more Returned appeared the nature of the world and warfare changed.

This story follows Ret, a young soldier on the Eastern Border of Frezian and his journey through this world. Word of a Goblin invasion force mustering nearby finds our hero on the frontlines of a skirmish when we join him, his life about to be changed forever...
