  I hope there's more to come in the future. I enjoyed every minute. I originally found this on YouTube and couldn't stop listening to it. I was heartbroken when I found out the story was put on ice... I hope the rewrite goes well and inspires the writer to finish the story. I NEED closure.

  I found this on youtube and it has been one of my favorite stories ever. I'm absolutely heartbroken to discover the author will no longer continue this story.
  I'm trying to cling onto the silver-lining they mention:
  I am just starting to work on a rewrite of this story, though I am literally just starting. I can't be sure how much of the original story will remain as I am only starting to outline.
  However, I fell in love with this  litrpg webnovel, as it ticks every box I crave in a story of this sort. It doesn't overuse any obnoxious tropes. The characters are likable. The world-building is vast. The power system and progression-grind are engaging. The action is enjoyable. The chapters are packed with content and good pacing. It's as close to perfect as it can be, for me, as it is right now! I'm left wanting so much more.
  Sadly, right as the story begins to open up into the wider world, it's cut short with an untimely and abrupt stop. I feel like I'm one of the kitsune, and fate has yoinked away my precious dinner.

  This story was a delight to read.  Sure there's a couple in world logic things that can come across a bit rough.  Though whatcha expect, it's a serial on RR. For the first work of theirs that I've read it was a lot of fun to read and look forward to more.  Especially as the author sands down some of the burrs of the story and becomes more proficient and confident as an author.
  Lots of fun, interesting take and look forward to more to come.

  Not the biggest fan of reincarnations, but this story is an exception. Has an amazing beginning that just draws you in, and it takes its time creating the characters to the point where they feel real.
  Style: The style is very descriptive, which is good for stories like this that has a large emphasis on the action and world-building. It really allows for the reader to feel like they're a part of it, and the immersion experience is a big deal. The author has done a wonderful job of not making it a slog to go through, and the sentences flow really well!
  Grammar: There were a few mistakes, especially centered on the dialogue. I noticed that several times, at least during the earlier chapters, there were times when a comma or period was missing before the second quotation mark. I also spotted some occasions when the follow-up word was capitalized when it shouldn't be. However, those were extremely minor mistakes and there aren't any other grammar mistakes as far as I coudl tell.
  Story: This story begins with a huge action scene that gets your heart pumping, and you want to know what happened to cause it. This scene catches your attention like no other and more importantly, makes you want to flip the page. The world-building is going pretty well, with this having a much larger scale than I anticapted before. I mean, they're talking about different planets here, though that was admittedly in the previous life. The only qualm I would have about the story so far is that I'm kind of more invested in the previous life than the current one, though that's more about the mysterious surrounding it.
  Character: The main character is introduced in a stunning fashion, and right off the bat, we know his motives and his plans. We know what his goal is, and the author spends time afterwards developing his character. I think his interactions with his new family is the best, largely in part due to the fact that his new family feel so real and organic. The dyanmic between Kai and the people

  First off the author deciding to pause the story should be the first thing you know. That being said the story is still very well done in my opinion.
  I enjoyed the character development and world building aspects put forth by the author. I though the way a lot of the info was shared was well done and organic. I am very sad to see the pause but feel like the story was well worth the read.
  Are there some flaws? Absolutely. None of them are so glaring that they detract from the enjoyability of the story for me. The time skips could have used some polish, battle scenes needed some work, and some proof reading wouldn't hurt. Still none of those killed it for me. The authors effort comes through.

  While reading this book I really enjoyed the descriptions, the vivid painting of the different scenes and the complexity of the characters. It is a good story that I hope the Author continues. I believe this is one of the better nonpublished books on RoyalRoad.
  There are some deficiencies in the storytelling in that it feels like the basis of the MC is off with the honest reactions that the author gives him. The main issue I have is that the MC's reaction don't fit with the complete premise of the story.

There is definitely a lot of space to grow and an interesting universe and mythos to explore as well that has me intrigued.   So, I zipped through the story up to the academy.  Its now a march through knee deep mud, on a path we have all read before.
  The characters feel like they have been thought out, and the author knows where they are going.  The problem I have had over the last few chapters is trope.  Its old.  Its been done.  So, I am left comparing this plot with every other plot going through academy with a tourney at the end of the year...and in that, its clunky and rushed.  This could be because of the "web novel" push for "X" number of chapters a week...or the author doesn't have a feel for pacing in this section of the plot line.
  I am going to stick with it.  I have hopes that my 4 stars shows the promise that is hidden there.
  ..and should Hero4hire scan this...a meteor crashing down and wiping out the city/academy would be a freshing plot twist.

  The story is generally speaking good, except for two things. One is that you need to waste time reading the beginning of every chapter twice because of all the time skips that don't care about whether something was ongoing last chapter, now it is x weeks later and you only receive context clues to figure it out. And the second is the character Garren who is kind of a ghost in that they, for inexplicable reasons, don't like the MC, but is that ever remarked upon by others? NO! Neither do they ever hold conversations with Garren. Garren is the antithesis to the MC as the MC is given special attention Garren receives none and perhaps this is only a biased view and characters do speak with Garren, but then it isn't ever shown, because of the aforementioned time skips.
