Description

The Greatest ArchMage in human history dies to the claws of a juvenile WyrmKin. That’s how mankind’s climb ends—wiped out by Level 34 in a Tower with over four hundred floors, crushed by ancient races that treat human magic like a joke. Jonah refuses that ending. He wakes up regressed to the beginning, hours before the System initializes, armed with decades of hard-earned knowledge and one chance to rewrite everything. He knows which “helpful” classes are actually cages. He knows where the first real caches are buried, which early choices create ceilings, and which paths forge monsters. He knows what floors break people, what wars ignite, and exactly how fast extinction comes when humanity wastes time arguing instead of climbing. This time, Jonah doesn’t just cast from the backline. He takes a Spellsword body and forces it to keep up with an ArchMage mind. Learning to fight in the mud, on the wall, blade-in-hand, while he drags impossible spells out of a Tier-locked System that insists he shouldn’t be able to. The Tower wants humans weak, divided, and predictable. Jonah makes them none of those. 70k words written ahead of posting! 2.5k words plus per chapter!

Great start well writing good plot line and entertaining classic opmc with some team society building can’t wait to see where it goes. Slightly worried about the pacing I think before the regression mc was on level thirty something there’s been some foreshadowing of major arches or challenges on different levels and then a long slog of levels after they go past previous attempt but I’m interested to see how author manages that

Only 7 chapters so far, but it is a good start on a new novel with a fun premise. A powerful guy with lots of knowledge dies and gets thrown back to the beginning of humanities system apocalypse. They have to learn magic, climb a tower, all that stuff. It’s all pretty basic, but so far well executed. I like it and will continue to follow as the story continues.

Great start to an interesting concept.  I'm loving how the system is working and can't wait to see how people's classes are built out.  We haven't gotten to the settlement stone yet so I am very curious on how the city/kingdom building will go. Wonder if anyone with a summoning power will show up.

I have read through Chapter 37, and this is a fantastic story. Yes, many of the tropes are familiar (OP regressor MC given a do-over chance).  However, the author just does a great job of telling a fantastic story within that subgenre.
Story - I like that it has taken a long time for the MC to win over his people, and he is still not completely safe politically - even with his followers. Let's see where this goes, but I am really looking forward to seeing him and his people meet other human groups.  I think the world-building and system are very solid. The author does a good job of leaving mysteries while avoiding confusion. The references to his first life are well done.
Style - the author has a relatively spare, direct style, which I appreciate. There is enough description to situate us in the world, but not so much that it slows down the story. The pacing is also good. It does not feel rushed, but a lot has happened in the first 37 chapters, and forward progress is noticeable.
Characters - I like the MC a great deal. He is haunted by his past, but he will not let that slow him down. He definitely has regrets, but they do not rule him.  He also feels like he has gravitas and the knowledge of a previous life. The other characters are just coming into focus, but I hope we get to know them better. The first arc villain was good.
Grammar - seems very good.  Mistakes are few

Amazing book, good characters, nice idea and intresting concepts. Don’t give up on a dream of writing with how much potential you got just becouse a couple people on here love hating on new writers while never having written a word in their life. You are doing great and this book is fucking great compared to 90% of what I read.

I like the premise of a powerful MC who dies and comes back to get a second chance.  I’ve read a couple others like this and it is a tricky plot to execute well.sometimes a little serious and grim, but I am getting attached to the main secondary characters and the MC having foreknowledge is not removing tension or drama from the story.relatively standard sort of magic and item system that makes the story easier to digest, I am liking this story so far and hope the Author sticks with it despite some unwarranted negative reviews from other readers.

Very straightforward system apocalypse time travel story. A leader of humanity gets sent back to try and make things better.
I think it’s still coming in to its own though as it definitely seems to be leaning towards kingdom building vibes and they are still working with just a few hundred people.
    Looking forward to more!

For those of you who know return of the rainbow mage pls give this a try. I was searching for something comparable so long now and this story just cuts it. It's amazing how you get pulled in immediately and the characters actually feel like fleshed out people. Its just a good read and i really think people should enjoy this.

I love the whole plot it is interesting and keeps the readers attention. I like how not everything is answered immediately while slowly feeding us little bits of information of what lead to humanity failing.
The style feels off. Occasionally the wording will just feel wrong and that may be due to Ai assistance in editing or just the style the author writes in I am unsure. It is not a huge bother though and I only really notice it once or twice.
I like the main character and a lot of the side characters. However not a lot of depth have been given to the side characters yet and that may be due to the pacing as so far it has been really fast paced. But I like the characters that have been given a little more of that depth and I like Jonah I like how he has flaws and how he is actively working to fix them and I like how the author shows actual consequences that happened because of those flaws. I figure the author will get in developing the side characters in a few chapter as they have already set up the basics and backgrounds now they just need to show who exactly their characters are.
I have had not issues with the grammar which is great because it is kinda a pet peeve of mine. I have quit multiple books part way through because the grammar was that bad but this one has no obvious issues.
Overall I think the story is great potential and I love the plot and the author is doing an amazing job and just needs a little time to work out the little bits so keep it up!
