- WildstaraRoyal Road★★★★★ 5.0Story is interesting as it takes a new view on the reincarnated into a otome game as the villainess.
- librarysmilesRoyal Road★★★★ 4.0This is the super slowly updating story of how a mother saves her child in a fantasy world by overcoming challenges.
Internal challenges show her facing raw emotions and battling to remember key information. External challenges have her facing human challenges in various forms. Last, but not least, she faces otherworldly challenges.
This seems like a story attempting to answer the question: "how much can a mother love her child"? - HerbooRoyal Road★★★★ 3.5TAKE EVERYTHING I SAY WITH A GRAIN OF SALT, I DIDNT GET PAST THE PROLOGUE AND AM ONLY MAKING GUESSES FROM MY EXPERIENCE.
enjoy~
GRAMMAR
While certainly no grammar nerd, there is one thing that I can never get past, which is unfortunately front and center in this book. And that is whenever someone uses anything other than quotation marks to show dialogue. I don't mean using brackets for Systems or even using something when it's a different language, but here, dashes are used for anyone speaking at anytime. Which grinds my gears in ways you wouldn't believe... which unfortunately means I wont be reading more. In the words of the awesome Maegan from Hercules, "its not worth the aggravation." Other than that, I didn't notice any crazy errors, so if you can live this that error, I think it's worth a shot.
CHARACTER
Our main character seems logical and kind, from what little I read. Having read only the prologue, I unfortunately have not gotten to see how she develops, or even much of her personality now. I definitely enjoyed the last bit of the prologue and felt it let us at least know her priorities, which I think is very sweet.
STORY
While not far into the storyline, I can guess this will be a character and family driven plot, with some overarching conflict they must resolve in order to properly raise her daughter without fear of the future. I'm a suckered for Otome Game Isiaki, familial goals, and bad*ss moms, so if you're similar, I think this might shape up to be a great read. Then again, you never know.
STYLE
I rated this the lowest, because while not something that would have kept me from reading, there wasn't much in the way of descriptions. There was some internal dialogue and thoughts, which was nice, but pretty much nothing sensory, so we get no visual of the room or smell of blood or anything, really. As this is the prologue and the character has just given birth, I can definitely give of grace, but there wasn't even anything about how she was anxious about n
