This story doesnt truly stand out much to me. The story is pretty generic. The plot is pretty generic. Characters are pretty generic. Names are kinda cool. Titles actually seem more interesting.
But now I actually have to say something. Characters... do need a bit of work. This might only be due to me having read a few chapters but I just haven't reached the point where I care. It's like reading a sad story in the paper. Feels bad but not like I'll bawl my eyes out at this.
    4.5/5 from me.

Ever since a certain story about a mouse becoming a warrior, I've always loved the concept. So when I came across this gem, I was pretty hyped to get to read it. And I've got to say, I was not disappointed.
Style wise, the story is simple. You are given a glimpse into the world via our main character, and very quickly are thrown into action. It's a very typical way of stories around here getting started, but I can't fault its effectiveness. Some stories don't need a lot of build up to get into the good stuff. I'm also going to throw in the accompanying pictures into this section. They are a wonderful flavor added to each chapter.
I either didn't focus on grammar, or nothing stood out at all to me as wrong or misplaced. They overall syntax and flow of sentences and paragraphs was well executed. There were no glaring punctuation or spelling errors. Overall, top tier work.
The story itself takes a lot of classic tropes and events and blends them in a way that creates a uniqueness to this story. The plot very much rests on the characters working toward a specific event. World building is kept simple yet lively, and the narrative is clear and concise without getting bogged down with too much detail or description.
The heart of this story is the characters. Even outside of the main characters who are already well rounded early on, the side characters brought in feel like they have their own thoughts, feelings, and goals. The monsters that they are fighting are intriguing and fun, and add stakes to the world at large.
Overall, this was a fun read reminiscent of various other stories that I've enjoyed while also adding it's own unique mark. The creativity is boundless, and I can't recommend it enough to those who are into it.
