Description
It came suddenly, one day he realized he had nothing left. This made sense, even he realized that he was a no good failure. No money, no home, no family, no friends, no loved ones. This could push a much stronger man to his breaking point, let alone a weak person like himself. With the illusion of having no options left, he dies a wanton death, all alone.
At least he thought so, but when his eyes open he finds himself in a whole new world. Tied to a curious young boy, he has no choice but to move on. This new world is filled with magic, interesting people, and strange powers.
What will he do with this new opportunity? Change his thoughts and actions to support this young lad?
Or will he succumb to his old ways?
This is the journey of someone who hated the world and everything in it being forced into a new perspective. Being given an opportunity to reflect and see the world in a new light. Within a world of swords and spells.

- SkarabraeRoyal Road★★★★★ 5.0This story is quite good and interesting. It does something that I've only seen one example of in Isekais: the person who is reborn is not the person in control of the body. He can help the person in control of the body, but he isn't in control of it himself. That gives this story something that makes it stand out quite a bit.
The story is also fairly well-written and quite interesting too. I like the characters as well. They are all interesting and have a deal of depth to them. I also like the plot of it.
So, I recommend this story. - morphiwritesRoyal Road★★★★★ 5.0This book instantly grabs your attention with its unique premise and deep emotional pull. It starts with a young, talented man with a mysterious power that you can't help but root for. As the story unfolds, it takes you on an unexpected journey filled with magic, assassins, and twists that will leave you speechless. The emotional depth is palpable, so keep tissues handy for this rollercoaster ride.
What sets this story apart, especially in the realm of Isekai, is the original twist of the reborn character not controlling the body but instead helping the one who does. This unique angle adds a fresh layer of intrigue and complexity. The narrative is well-crafted, with compelling characters and a gripping plot that invites you to dive deeper.
I would recommend this book to anyone who loves a good mix of emotion, suspense, and uniqueness. I'm giving it five stars and will be following along for the journey. - ArcanaVitaeRoyal Road★★★★ 4.0The story starts out really hopeful and seems very standard in that sense. But then tragedy strikes and the main characters family dies. He then goes on his personal villain arc where he's pretty much a shell of a human being, in fact it kinda reminds me of vinland saga but instead of being constantly angry the main character is more extremely apathetic to everything in general. And he clearly goes on a downward spiral where he becomes badass but also becomes lesser a person.
Seeing him deal with his circumstances and heal is something I'm really looking forward to. - RandomLurkerRoyal Road★★★★ 4.0This story punches you right in the feels. You'll start off rooting for a talented young dude with a mysterious power, but then things take a wild turn. Buckle up for an emotional rollercoaster with magic, assassins, and a shocking twist that will leave you speechless. If you love stories that pack a punch, this one's for you. Just sayin', keep some tissues handy.
I give it 4 stars for now. Gotta see where the story goes before I unleash that shiny 5th one. - The Cat Killed By CuriosityRoyal Road★★★★ 3.5If you like Isekai this is for you but it just takes a few chapters. The twist was good and the story moves along well. It is nothing new if I am being honest but what it does use it uses well so 3.5 for me. Honestly, the person reborn will have a fun life. Give a little info here, and act as a second pair of eyes there. He gets all the adrenaline with no exhaustion.
