- Alt41Royal Road★★★★★ 5.0An interesting and lovely read~ you will get hooked from the first chapter with where the mc wakes up and the situation he finds himself in~
Style: it's interesting and just as engaging, it flows well and the author knows how to balance the different events together, The dialogues too were well done I have nothing to say about them. Another thing I really liked was how we went from one event or plot point to another, you would think that some of them would be drawn out, but the author deals with them fast and moves to the next part smoothly, something I appreciate a lot.
Story: the Mc is a minion that finds himself in the middle of a match of some kind without control of his body and any knowledge about where he was, he then would get sent somewhere else where he would be judged for what he was, then get sent on a small journey to prove himself, that's a small explanation form the events at the start and the immediate plot points, there was some foreshadowing of some future war maybe? But that seems to be still a while away before we see anything from it.
Grammar: I don't really have much to say about grammar because I don't worry about it much when reading, still, except for some little mistakes that could be found here and there, it's almost perfect.
Characters: they are distinct and unique, from the mc, to his two companions, each other them have their own traits that sets them aside from the others.
Anyway, that's it from me, I really hope you give this novel a chance, and remember what I talked about is only the doorway to this novel, there's still a lot more, and last but not least, a big thank you to the author for their hard work~~ keep it up and here to much more~~ - Dusty_GlamourRoyal Road★★★★★ 5.0This Review is part of a Review Swap.

Style: Quite frankly, this is far better than what I'd expect on Royal Road. If the initial chapters are anything to go by, they're far, far superior to most of the Best Rated stories out there. It comes close to Paranoid Mage in prose and it's up there at Number 1 on the "Best Ongoing" scale.
The tables are used properly and more importantly, they aren't spammed everywhere. Most of them are included in the Author's Note section, making it perfect to keep track of the characters' progress despite it not being shown in the actual story. It's a clever usage of the format that Royal Road offers.
Grammar: Perfect, except for the typos. They are few but can sometimes be confusing. Especially in Chapter 1 or 2? Where Jordan wrote "lonely" instead of "only". Nothing a quick proofread before posting a chapter can't fix. It may as well not be an issue.
Story: It flows well and while not much has happened yet, everything makes sense and tracks. The premise is fresh, as far as I'm aware. The idea of a MOBA creep (excuse my Dota 2 speech) gaining sapience and as a result, being deemed special is a great one and it's being done well so far. Only time wil tell what will happen as the story progresses.
In fact, I'm inclined to wait for a while until there are enough chapters for a proper binge (which will most likely be when it hits 80k words, at which point the schedule will slow down a bit).
Character: They're well thought out and actually sound like different people, which is a plus. More importantly, Caster's character is properly developed and he is, I dare say, a likable character. There are surprisingly few of them nowadays. At least on Royal Road, that is. Far too many times, I've found myself rolling my eyes or getting annoyed by protagonists but Caster is one of the alright ones.
The only issue is that the chapters are too short, averaging at around a little over a thousand words lo - Evil_WarlordRoyal Road★★★★★ 5.0STYLE: A fluid and clear narration. Not so many descriptions, but to my taste it's perfect. The author describes what surrounds the main character, just enough to tell the story without overdoing it. Leading to it being an enjoyable and smooth read. All while keeping each chapter interesting enough to continue on to the next.
STORY: The story starts immediately, following the protagonist, who gets involved in a battle that he is helpless to do anything about. Anyone who has played MOBA games will immediately understand what happens and where the protagonist finds himself. I haven't read stories of this type, but I love the idea of this kind of scenario. The best part is that the author takes it further, with a larger world to experience.
CHARACTER: The protagonist lost his memory and the story starts that way, but he doesn't start out as a blank canvas. Perhaps because of the vestiges of memories, or perhaps unconsciously, he shows a unique personality. Not of someone starting from zero, but someone who has had a life.
I also have to mention the secondary characters, as each of them has a side that sets them apart from others and some practically stand out right away. (I'm talking to you The Usurper).
GRAMMAR: I didn't see any grammatical errors that took me out of the reading. I think that's enough to say how well written the story is.
I haven't read stories of this type where the focus is on minions, so for my first story of this type I liked it a lot. - F-ngBirdRoyal Road★★★★★ 5.0This puts an awesome spin on something a lot of us have wondered at one point, whether at length or just a fleeting thought. So excited to see where this is going! Author has great talent!
Dive into a world where the no one, the meaningless, the character void of any significance, gains a modicum of consciousness and power, and with that their eyes are opened. This is definitely an amazing start to a series that I truly hope keeps the level of intrigue and mystery at the high it has so far achieved. The author seems to have a good grip on writing and grammar, therefore making it an effortless, yet definitely worthwhile, read. - IanFlatRoyal Road★★★★★ 5.0I've only read LitRPGs since finding Royal Road, but I've read a bunch here, and this strikes me as--in the best possible way--'the same only different.' That is, it's got all the coolest aspects of a LitRPG. It starts as close as possible to the protagonist finding themself gamified; it starts with the protagonist woefully underpowered EXCEPT for one neat trick, and; it has details charts and statuses. This one does those blue (sometimes red …) rectangles better than any I've seen, I think.
This isn't exactly my genre, but presentation of the extra bonus data is damn strong, from quests and objectives to character stats to maps.
The protagonist is immediately sympathetic, because he's immediately in over his head. We get a very short preamble--like, three sentences--that explains enough and then bang, Caster is being suicide-marched into battle. The fact that he can't control himself is a nice element, too. Very NPC.
And of course he immediately starts levelling up. In modest, reasonable ways … that will no doubt increase geometrically at some point.
This has all the elements of a great RR read. - RathowmRoyal Road★★★★★ 5.0I dont know what else to say, this novel is pure entertainment in written form. It is the dopamine you obtain when you see the words 'quest completed' and the 'level up' appear when playing a game. It is a simple joy in the aspect of Lit rpg, combined with MOBA elements.
Style so far is excellently crafted Litrpg. The status screens are indredibly well designed, easy to look at and analyze. The addition of the map is just the icing on the cake.
Never had a keen eye for grammar. This story doesnt have any glaring marks. It reads well, if a bit fast paced. Still, I personally enjoy stories that get moving quickly.
Speaking of such - I have a long way to go when it comes to the remaining chapters, and I plan to continue reading, but the story so far is suprisingly slow-paced. It is undeniably interesting reading though, and the concept is genuinely unique. The author claims later Kojiima-tier convulted story non-sense, which I am all in for.
Character is instantly over his head and sympathetic. Those status screens really bind you to the MC, and you cant help but feel like he's one of your own.
Eager to read more. Very well done work so far from the author. Keep it up! - Slifer274Royal Road★★★★★ 5.0Overall an enjoyable read, but the plot so far has been fairly restrained. As a former MOBA player, this story really hits the spot, and I'm willing to overlook a number of its flaws because it's a fun read. Hope it scales up soon, I'll be looking forward to it.
Style: 4.5/5 For the most part, excellent. The dialogue is so smoothly done and everything fits exceptionally well. There are areas where the dialogue feels stilted and info dumpy, but it’s rare and for the most part this is offset by how well it flows. The litRPG boxes are used to good effect for humor and information. However, there still is some struggle with usage of passive voice and natural-sounding dialogue. Also, the use of bolding for emphasis is sometimes used in weird places where it does not feel like it fits.
Also, why is one chapter unreadably white? It might be explained in the plot later, but it might throw readers off.
Story: 4.5/5 Interesting story so far, what with the hook of a minion literally getting yote out of a LoL game. Right now, it’s a fun ride, but for the most part it’s just Caster being dragged along by people more powerful than him, so if it lasts too long like this I think it could get a little old. It looks like it’ll get better as it goes, though— excited to see more!
Grammar: 5/5 A spot or two of punctuation issues, but there were no major issues.
Character: 5/5 Makes the story. Caster is an absolute joy to follow around, a man who was transmigrated into a not!man. He has an actual personality and a neat gimmick, and he actually has realistic reactions to his new circumstances. The cast isn’t anything extraordinarily special, but I think they’re executed well with unique character voices. - BaradeerRoyal Road★★★★★ 5.0Original and inspired! My only complaint is there is more to read! I can see the iseki forming now. Soon baron nashor himself with bow before caster! I also loved the addition if his stats and how on point they were in the end. Can't wait to read more of it!
- Banner CaygeonRoyal Road★★★★★ 4.5I've only recently got into LitRPG as a result of being here on Royal Road, but it's a fun genre, and this piece seems to be a cut above many.
Grammar: The piece is thoroughly edited. This reader didn't notice any issues or grammatical errors that took me out of the flow.
Style: This will be a bit different than typical fiction, but the litRPG elements are done well, and the author makes great use of the the before and after chapter 'author's notes'. Though there are a lot of stats through out the piece, they don't feel overdone or underdone. It's just the write amount of quantitative progression data. Dialogue is done exceptionally well, which is not an easy thing to do.
Character: The main characterd doesn't appear to have too much control over their actions at this point and are kind of dragged along for the ride, which can be cool, but I'd like to see a bit more agency. Following the lost memories should make for a fun and ongoing ride.
Story: It's a zero to hero story at heart, and while it's not terribly original, the unqiues spins that the author has put on everything make this a fun ride. - Casey BacaRoyal Road★★★★★ 4.5Story: What would happen if a MOBA minion got an end game item at before his inevitable march toward doom? Probably nothing because MOBA minions can't use items. They don't have an inventory. Luckily Caster gets saved by the game closing and shenangens ensue. I like the attention to detail given to the game elements. The small stature of minions in MOBA games I always thought was funny compared to the heroes.
Character: Caster is still trying to figure everything out, unsure who he was or is and why he's a minion. He's no pushover though, and early on proves that he's more than just a minion.
Grammar: Solid editing. I barely found any errors or awkward sentences that drew me out of the narrative. Good proofreading.
Style: There's a lot of use of game screen sections and every end of chapter comes with a stat screen showing what has changed since last time. Readers definitely won't get lost with progression. I'm not sure I always like so much of it, but the author did put some of it behind spoiler tags, so if you just feel like skipping over them, they are unobtrusive.
Fun read. The author I believe has stated this is a very long story, so lots more to come.
