Description

Kasumi Ai, a plant-loving woman who dies, finds herself given a not-really-survey by a not-really-goddess-of-everything, and gets reborn in a cultivation world with a power system loosely based on a chinese novel she read back when she was alive. Mostly, due to godly politics that the goddess didn't really like.

But, not as a human, but an Alraune! A plant moster with the upper half of a woman and her lower half that of a giant plant monster.

Luckily, even as an Alraune, Ai can still walk around, and surprisingly, she can also cultivate with her own Cultivation Technique as well!

Let's hope life stays simple for her.

Notes: Adult tag and warnings just in case. Updates might not be consistent, and so will the chapter length, but I plan to make them short chapters. (chapters will be between 900 and 2k words most likely)

I wrote this review because I think the story doesn't what it should a faire review. The different caractères are interesting, there IS a good storytelling, with a plot there, but not overhelming. There is a lot of humour and itls a good story to read.
To make a honest feedback, I would than even with a special chapter to explain thé différent level of power, it's a bit confising to inderstand the importance of the difference between the level and grade of a beast, and overall power levels between individuals.
To end this rewiew, I will just Say good luck for the author, and go Reading this.

I find this story to be good, not the best but certainly not the worst. I enjoy cultivation and isekai stories, and this one fits the bill. The main character is a plant beast reincarnated into a Chinese cultivation story. The MC might seem a bit odd to me, but it's not necessarily a bad thing. Anyway, I recommend giving it a try if you're into cultivation novels.

This story feels strange to me.
It follows the promise - it is a story about woman being turned into plant beast in a cultivator world. There's a GL coming somewhere in the future. There's a cult and beast interactions and problems as she carves her niche into the world.
But at the same time, story feels mild and unengaging quite often. Some mild things are taken too seriously, some that should be taken seriously are skipped over instead. MC doesn't feel solid and fully realized. Storyline feels like it could've been tightened up and being made more engaging.
This one is a good example of great potential that's not fully realized. Still is a decent, even good read depending on your standards and preferences, but it's really could've been a lot better, and you can feel it in every chapter.

When I found about about a reincarnation story about a western fantasy monster protagonist in a cultivation world without system, I am excited.
Then later I found out this story is a fanfic of a weird cultivation world that have a lot of fantasy elements and protagonist is a native monster there... okay.
But still. It's fun. Reading non-human protaganist having non-human interaction. Language barrier. Very enjoyable.
Because it's so good... when the story decided to dropped the balls... it felt worst than usual.
1.Monsters/Beasts of this story is basically sociopath human with weird kinks.
2.Everyone acknowledged litrpg-style ranking system... including non-sapient monsters.
3.Chuunibyo stuffs like "that guy is so powerful his Qi aura make you faint" being treated with 100% seriousness. That stuffs only acceptable in 10yr and below shounen jump manga y'know?
Methink half the subpar stuffs came from the original content. Author should make a rewrite but with original cultivation world instead.
