Description

In a world consumed by perpetual twilight and a blurred line between reality and fantasy, Lleyn, one of the few remaining Awakened, stands alone on a battlefield ravaged by countless battles. The once-mighty city of Eldoria lies in ruins, and humanity's last stand has crumbled under the forces of darkness.

Lleyn, a warrior with a tattered past, fights not out of loyalty to any faction but out of determination to survive and seek vengeance against those who betrayed him. Among his adversaries is his former lover, Sola, transformed into a formidable foe.

As Lleyn battles grotesque abominations and faces a powerful demon general, he fights with all his might, knowing this could be his last battle. The system that summoned him offers a reward for his achievements, including a wish.

With a final, desperate strike, Lleyn defeats the demon general and earns his reward: a wish, one that comes at a steep cost.

Follow Lleyn's journey as he starts his adventure anew.

I really loved the premise of the MC going back in time with most of his memories intact. For most of the early part of the story, it proceeds how you would expect, with the system serving as an anchor for the motivations of the MC. But things do begin to veer in surprising directions. We know from the prologue that the MC will do anything to avoid the fate the world was in, but now I'm starting to wonder what truly caused that fate to begin with.
The story is written with crisp and effective prose. It rarely wastes time over-describing and instead clips along at a rapid pace. At first, the MC seems a bit like a brick wall, but we begin to understand him more as he makes choices, especially in regard to how he powers up and what quests he decides to undertake. He's already incredible powerful very early on, but that's also because he has foreknowledge of things. The fact that he knows so much makes discovering his motivations, and what he knows, part of the draw and the mystery.
I hope some of the side characters are fleshed out, more. The author had one chapter written from a very interesting side character who is mentioned in the prologue. I wouldn't mind seeing more chapters from her POV, since she seems like she will be a big part of the MCs journey.

Style: The style is pretty tight and doesn't really get bogged down in unnecessary details, which I really appreciate. Conversations are realistic and to the point, nothing pointless bogging everything down. Also, the writing style doesn't leave anything vague, so you won't be running into situations where you are re-reading sections trying to get clarification.
Story: The story so far is interesting, who doesn't enjoy a good return to the past story? I'm very curious to see the fantasy world the MC spent 20 years in before returning to the past. The only reason I deducted half a star is that it is pretty focused on pre-tutorial stuff, but that is understandable for the type of story, it just takes a while to kick off.
That being said, the MC does do a lot of what I imagine most people would do if they returned to the past in terms of profiting off of their knowledge and trying to right past wrongs, which makes the MC feel like a real person rather than a prop to push the narrative.
Grammar: Absolutely no issues that I noticed.
Character: The MC is understandable in his actions. So far, side characters aren't all that fleshed out, but I'm sure that will change as the story continues. They aren't badly written by any means, there just isn't a lot of time spent on them so far.

I have always loved rerun progression fantasies, especially ones with LitRPG elements. They always seem so hard to find through, which means that this one was very nice to encounter. This one was not that unique, following the model of many other similar books where the protagonist is reborn right at the very end of their journey, to complete their lives once more, but with more knowledge.
The style was engaging, and was fun to read. There were a few moments when there were some sticky spots, but that did not impact the storyline. All in all, well done on this.
I loved the story, and the world building and System were both very well done. I'm always a sucker for OP characters, and in this genre, the characters tend to get OP very quickly. Because there were elements of that in this book, I might be a bit biased.
The grammar was on point, and I did not really notice any significant errors.
The characters were realistic, but in general it is almost impossible to write perfect characters. In any case, they were serviceable, and I do not have any real complaints about them.
I would recommend this fiction to anyone who is into this genre.
