- IrjaRoyal Road★★★★★ 5.0Yup, full mark.
Interesting monologue.
Brief description of surrounding, but enough to give visualization.
And....crazy MC. Well, not asylum crazy, but more like joker crazy or far cry 3 n 4 crazy. And thus its interesting to read.
Also....it seems other characters around MC is a bit...unstable as well, except maybe for jerry.
Thus it makes a very interesting read. An unhinged MC who receive Power. - JustSomePugRoyal Road★★★★★ 5.0This is to add some traction to what you have here I at some point plan to write a more detailed review once more chapters are up also I hope you go where I think this is going or to the point of something similar to the Night Side series and a plot involving the family similarly to Flowers In The Attic.
- ShadedRoyal Road★★★★★ 5.0In a good way, and bad. The author (aka Nneeil) writes so perfectly I water for the next chapter, see hidden meaning behind sentences, and thoroughly stunning me over and over again.
Read the damned story already and get ready to feel like smashing your desk and crying out in joy at the same time. - UndeadFlowerBoyRoyal Road★★★★★ 5.0Honestly i randomly came upon this novel on scribblehub, and decided to read it on here, to make a review. This book is good, don't get me wrong. The sheer lack of humanity from the MC kinda makes me feel creeped out sometimes but it also makes me feel excited!
The mystery with the system, and the apparently forever present ghost makes me look forward to more chapters but also . . . hehe, the relationships.
I wont lie. I am biased. Kenny reminds of someone i was once in a relationship with, and the fact that he got rejected so easily is kinda eating me up. I really hope he'll still be there in the future and not just thrown away in future plots. I mean i totally understand gay stuff isn't too interesting for some people but yeah. idk if we're gonna have incest why not go all the way with some boypussy action?
Ignore everything there. Basically what i want to say is: good novel, good job, keep it up! - jessicaroyaleRoyal Road★★★★ 3.5I read through chapter 12 before giving up, so there is the possibility the issues I spotted have been resolved.
Story seems to be a system version of the classic inducted into a magical world running parallel to our own trope. The worldbuilding was nicely paced, and looked like it was a pretty good setup. Unique enough to keep your interest, but genre conformy enough not to turn folks off.
Characters were developing nicely, MC seemed to bounce back and forth maturity wise from acting like a kid to an adult, but probably not too unrealistic for a teen.
I'm guessing the author is not a native speaker, multiple instances of words being used that don't fit the sentence. Sometimes its just a tone issue, like the word was chosen at random from a thesaurus and technically fits the narrative. More often, the meaning of the word does not fit, and the sentence becomes a giant non-sequiter and you've got to guess what the author meant to say.
The grammar issue heavily influences the style. Often it seems as if the author is choosing the most convoluted option to describe a scene. With the vocabulary issues its hard to tell if this is a failed attempt at flowery prose, or a google translate version of something written in another language. It was enough to turn me off an otherwise interesting story.
