Description
An Isekai-Oriented LitRPG lite, Game of Thrones type (HBO version) set in alternate-Italy during the Renaissance.
Warning! This story contains strong sexual themes. Most of it isincidentalsexy stuff as opposed to romantic. There is also some sexual violence and themes of revenge and trauma.
Synopsis
Moments after being born, the cambion began to grow at an alarming rate and everyone wanted to kill him. He knew there was much he had forgotten... he had a lifebefore. He longed to remember it, but the memory eluded him. Truly, this was a fantasy world of might and magic, but it felt familiar somehow. At any rate, the first priority is to survive. And that meant finding something to eat...
Re: Now I'm a Demon, So What? is a story about an outworlder main character, who (as of this moment) discovers he absorbs the powers and aspect of that which he consumes through his devour ability. There are a number of other interesting characters you get to meet as the political landscape is unveiled.
Bonus! You are encouraged to post comments regarding what you would like to see show up in future chapters! I would like this fiction to be shaped in large part by reader input, so please don't be shy!
Thanks for reading this and hope to get to know you through the comments! Oh, and be nice! What I'm posting here is basically a first draft. If anything important in the early chapters gets edited I'll let you know in the author comments. Your feedback definitely gets weighed to help make the work better.

- FoxEyesRoyal Road★★★★★ 5.0I am absolutely obsessed!!!! I am loving the story and can't wait to see what happens next. I feel empathy for the characters as well as emotionally invested. This story is captivating on so many levels. There is mystery and magic intertwined in such a lovely matter. The characters are deep and fully developed and the story is original. What I really love is the way that the author makes you fall in love and feel such strong emotions for his characters.
I love the way this story is progressing. Characters are 2 dimensional, realistic, authentic, and some are even worthy of redemption. The descriptions are very well written and it makes me feel like I am truly navigating this world. I really like the fact that the story lines haven't been predictable. Every time I read a chapter I know that I will be surprised. Every. Single. Time. The villains themselves are fully formed; as an audience I am hooked to learn more about their intentions... is there a Thanos complex at play here? While there are some sexual scenes that may make others feel uncomfortable… they are few and far between and the author always places a warning when these occur at the beginning of the chapter… deviant sexual acts are not glorified and victims victoriously avenge themselves. Now let’s get back to reading :-) - Bossbeast302Royal Road★★★★★ 5.0Very fun, but beware it does get pretty dark. If you're uncomfortable with sex dont read it. The plot is still unfolding but it looks to have plenty of action and politics. The MC makes good decisions and the world building is solid. So go on and enjoy an excellent reincarnation demon fic!!!!
- God of FireRoyal Road★★★★★ 5.0I read many stories but something so good is a rarity ok the name is a copy but that's ok the Author gets forgiveness because he actually writes good. If you like fantasy with real life problems than this is something for you it's like life sometimes funny sometimes horny sometimes sad
Don't read it if you can't stand the death of a cute little kitten - cowboyratRoyal Road★★★★★ 5.0nice, a realistic fantasy with a system. gives me a d&d vibe- also the mc is a furry
also since reviews must be 50 words long, i'll add a few more words.
it's a nice realistic fantasy with a sentient system that is kinda like a dog. it gives me d&dvibes, for what reason? idk.
the mc ate this big 1st graders cat that can teleport short distances and kind of merged with him- nice. - AylinFortsattBooksRoyal Road★★★★★ 4.5The story is such a unique blend of history, magic, and even RPGs and I can't say that I have read anything similar before! I really like how deeply the author has gone in developing the characters, and bringing out their individual personalities. I feel intrigued to find out what comes next at the end of each chapter and I am looking forward to continuing the story!
- Carson6319Royal Road★★★★ 4.0Now I'm A Demon, So What?' as of this review is still in what I would consider its early arc. Main characters are still being introduced and the overarching plot has yet to be fully clarified. That said, what has been written so is very solid and deserves praise and attention.
Characters
The strongest point of the story so far, every character introduced has felt alive with full stories that could easily be explored. Even the random mobs who are killed off have been given a level of care and depth that you rarely see in other works.
The other exciting part of this is how diverse the character presented have been. Hell, even the status is a character.
Style & Grammar
The work flows well and there are few obvious grammatical mistakes. The author has decided to use multiple perspectives which some may dislike. Personally, my only criticism is that some sections feel like they are a bit detached from the scene. The sex scenes and revenge scene so far presented personally don’t feel like they have as much punch as other works which have presented similar situations.
Story
Its slow, not in the sense nothing happens but in the sense that with nearly a full book's worth of content, it feels like the main arc has yet to even start. This is a very common trait for a lot of works on this site. It also feels slightly unplanned which down the line could cause it to become stale, but for now it’s great.
All in all, give this one a look and to the author keep up the great work. Also, for shame on being review #6. - NeonDustRoyal Road★★★★ 3.5With the recent dry spell on villanous/Anti-Hero genre, this story excited me quite a lot. And it starts off with quite the bang. That said I feel constantly conflicted with how the story and the main character has progressed.
First of all I am conflicted about the MC's personality
Right after he is born, we are under the premise that he has no knowledge of his previous life, as he gains flashbacks of his previous life as the story progresses, issue is the MC talks in a way and uses innuendo's that are purely earth specific. Dude is just born with bare memories and he suddenly has a strong personality to go with it. He just feel like a cog in the greater part of the story with no presence at all . He performs well in scenario that doesnt concern the story's greater plot, yet performs poorly at execution. He manages to learn to teleport as his opponent blinks and back while fails to do the same in time when the enemy is pointing a weapon at him. Battle sense aside that seemed really weird. Also the enemy seems to have no goal at any point in time. Initial escape aside, I dont understand why he hung out with the bandits.(if its due to Blinky's supposed attachment to Blom Blom its never touched). He gets imprisoned , convieniently finds an ally who is all helping to a weird creature thats apparently semi legendary. All this while the side characters manage to do lot more stuff.
Finally
His Devour ability is barely utilised/explored, I would have expected him to sample the dead bodies of a whole lot of dead monsters at the bandit camp, but that opportunity wasnt explored at all.
Moreover it feels weird that the MC is steamrolled into a more bigger sinister plot right off the bat without any kind of development on its part. Easing into it would have done the story a lot more justice.
The MC just escaped and he his entangled in a plot to summon a magical jinn to fight another nation, before the MC has had a chance to pull his thumb out of his mouth. Moreover suddenly ther
