Description

There was a man in modern-day Germany who always favored programming and in the pursuit of his dreams, he attained it, but life hasn't been what he expected. He can only rely on his best friend, Ansgar Wegener, a gamer, who has always supported him. Both of them had been outcasts from school and had only one friend from childhood which was each other. However, one day, while walking down the road, the man found himself to be involved in a hit-and-run. Regretting his actions and wondering what went wrong, he didn't allow himself to die so quickly. Not long after his death, he seemed to have reincarnated in a world filled with swords and magic. He uses his skills in his past life to see what he couldn't have done in his past life. The primary weakness of this story is that it does not contain many detailed references to programming. I was expecting to see magic approached from the perspective of data structures, graph algorithms, recursion, etc. However, in the first 14 chapters, the only connection made has to do with parameters.
Then, the style of this is tough to follow. It has a kind of listing flow to it. The author is more listing events than telling a story in many places. Further, there is a lot of shouting and all caps words that grate on my inner reading voice.
The characters, including the MC, are all also kind of silly meathead types. It's a fun trope, but making every character the same is tough. It's hard to differentiate between them, and also somewhat boring.
Finally, this story contains age regression and then romance which makes me more than a bit uncomfortable. Though, it may not bother someone else.
