- AlexandRoyal Road★★★★★ 5.0Honestly, we are so early into the story and I am already hooked. The world building and story telling is amazing and I cant wait to see see how it develops the longer you write. Yeah the beginning is a little slow, but its not bad. I actually like that it was so slow because it built the world more clearly around me. Now I can actually imagine the setting and the characters while I read instead of having to struggle to find descriptions.
Honestly I only have good things to say. Keep doing an amazing job!!! - AradelRoyal Road★★★★★ 5.0This is exactly what I hoped it would be. The main character is reborn as a fairy in a fantasy world, and not some "our fairies are different" sort. A pretty mainstream understanding of what a fantasy fairy is. Not human sized. Think Tinkerbell!
Different fairies have different abilities. Our hero has rare healing powers.
Life is dangerous for a fairy. Makes sense, given their size. Remember that Fable 4 trailer where the frog gets the fairy? Yeah.
Join "Apple" as he (I say he but fairies are genderless) learns about the world and embarks on what will hopefully be a great fantasy adventure told from a perspective no other author has ever explored. At least as far as I know. Correct me if I'm wrong!
Author, consider this my love letter to what you've done so far! I hope you are healthy and you are able to continue updating! - DiamondninjaRoyal Road★★★★★ 5.0I saw this pop up a while ago and was instantly interested but inky had like 10 chapters at the tone so left the tab open and waited. Came back afew days ago without thinking about it or checking and just started reading.
I LOVE IT!
Great characters, interesting world and just starting to see more and get out into it with a very unique mc with a less popular playset so far but keeping it very interesting and fun.
But then I caught up and saw its been almost a month since an update and I really hope the author is coming back.
Even if not this little taste of what could be is worth a read just to experience but I really hope that more is in store. - HoloSolRoyal Road★★★★★ 5.0I can't say I have a read a story with a premise similar to this one. It's unique and I like that. The story seems to have a direction, and it's taking its time to build up the characters and setting before rushing things--something I appreciate. Lately, many stories on rising stars have started straight into action sequences, but are without meaning because those moments weren't earned.
- Pinpoint InnacuracyRoyal Road★★★★★ 5.0In case the title of this review didn't make things clear I highly recommend you read Pocket Healer. The story is still in it's early stages, but it already shows significant promise.
The premise is unique and interesting enough to stand out from other Isekai novels, and it's worldbuilding, even with what little we've seen so far, is well done and leaves the reader wanting more. The characters and society feel fleshed out and realistic (for the setting at least). And their deviations from human behavior/society make the world help to accentuate the fact that the characters are fundemenatlly inhuman, without making them boring or unlikeable.
The system is basic enough to be easily understandable while also hinting at interesting future possibilites. Style-wise, the writing flows well, and the dialogue is well written. As far as grammar is concerned, I did not find any significant problems or mistakes.
In conclusion: It's good. Give it a read; you won't regret it. - PlatinumbeastRoyal Road★★★★★ 5.0I personally love nearly everything about the story, and especially the application of stats, and the hints of identity crisis. The fairies are interesting, human enough to relate to, but differentenough to be intriguing. But i disagree with the others about the training montage-esque segment. For some reason, i feel as if it was actually too short.
- TremuistRoyal Road★★★★★ 5.0Alright this story is suprisingly hella good. If you're hesitant to try this because the mc seems to want to focus on healing, forget about that and just dive in. The mc is reincarnated as a fairy into this fairy community around the mother tree, and it's just so bubbly and fun. The author didn't write the fairies out just as tiny humans with a few weird quirks, but really made them feel how an actual fairy would be. I'm not describing it the best, but basically it's not like humans acting as if they were fairies, but actual faries? Idk, but I just love the characters, and the close knit community. However, it's not all fun and games. There are already some parts which are serious, as while the faries don't die to old age, they have many predators. This story is absolutely amazing. I'm practically frothing right now. I need want to read more so, so, soo badly. GO AND READ IT IF YOU HAVEN"T YET!
- TheMoonsAnEyeRoyal Road★★★★★ 4.5A very nice introduction to this world so far, with slight hints of darker aspects through the lense of fairies. Also, it does not do the usual cop-out, "Human-Stuffed-into-non-human-skinsuit" shtick and actually incorporates fairy-like behaviour and tropes into everything from the mc to the system. Highly enjoyable and definitely worth a read.
- n8b8sRoyal Road★★★★★ 4.5This story still has me checking back on it, hoping for an update almost a year later. I reread the available chapters yesterday with mixed feelings as I made it through the beginning slow burn to the action chapters, this time knowing that it would abruptly end and leave me wanting more.
- TooGood119Royal Road★★★★ 4.0This is a fairly decent story. Interesting premise, relatively original. However, the story is a little slow for my taste. I'm on Ch. 21 and barely anything has happened. The problem with stories that progress slowly is that they need to be quite long.
For new readers I'd recommend saving this in your "read later" list and wait until the author has a couple hundred more pages written.
