Description

The anarchist rioters and flaky deadbeats thought their juvenile rebellion had succeeded...until the grownups arrived. Then they sullenly realized playtime was over.

I first released this novel in September 2021. Unsettlingly, it's only become more true since then.

There is no LitRPG content and little fiction in “Playtime’s Consequences”. It isn’t the typical RR novel. Nevertheless, I quite enjoyed it.
Until recently, I considered myself a liberal. But as Eric says in the penultimate chapter, conservatives are just liberals who got mugged. The author clearly has right-libertarian leaning views, some of which I agree with and some of which I do not. However, what I have experienced has pushed me in this direction. Eric Thompson is a visionary on the level of Lee Kuan Yew. Excellent story, I regret only that it was so short.

Contemporary story with no LITRPG elements. Public chaos to private order in America.
I enjoyed the multiple characters with conflicting motivations for what he/she do and say.
I read until 03c for this review.
There is nothing else I know to review to make it at least 50 words long.
