- CimmerianRoyal Road★★ 2.0This story is a continuation of Book 1, and picks up precisely where the other story left off. I will not leave a detailed review here, and this review is based on the one chapter in Book 2 (this book) that I did read, also posted at the end of Book 1, and the characters, world, and background common to both stories.
This book starts out, as the prior book ended, with the protagonist pretty heavily nerfed for his world setting, in a bad place, with pretty much the entire world set against him for no good reason. Now, apparently, stuck in a gladitorial arena, about to be subjected to infinite deaths and respawns.
So, lots more suck for the protagonist.
I will update this review once I read further.
