Up to chapter 419 and so far I have loved this book yes it seems english isnt his first language and it shows but is still very easy to read and incredibly beaten that balance between descriptive and exiting but not boring and a slog to read. Highly Highly worth reading.

This work is remarkably gripping from its epic beginning. The story unfolds in a captivating way, gradually revealing the development of the characters and the world in which they live. There are many characters, all of them well constructed and solid in their foundation. The author demonstrates skillful, coherent and confident writing. The characters have their own engaging stories, as does the plot that unfolds around each of them. The curiosity remains as to how these connections will be explored throughout history.
I wanted to point out, I miss writing again, author, I miss the work.

I love this novel but what I appreciate the most is the huge amount of details, descriptions and author's patient to plan out events and arcs, especially in the second half of the story. And I have read enough novels to know how of a rare trait it is.
We see lots of fighting and fight scenes, weopons and even dialogs between soilders are writen with great details. Hell the auther even intoduced and expanded an entire new path of technological development in inthe story later on.
Also there is an army of well writen characters and some of them I look forward reading their.

I like this story a lot, and I made an account to write this review. The grammar has improved as more chapters got posted and the plot is great. This is very late, but I wish you good health. Keep writing!

Set in the not too distant future the UN ship Singapore comes under attack and is forced to escape when the enemy boarding party catastrophically damages the ship in mid-warp sending it light years off course. The captain crash lands on a planet in uncharted space where the crew must face the new world. The new world's inhabitants have magic and resemble fantasy beings like elves, Orcs, goblins, and Dragons and other mythological creatures. It is a world at war and is technologically set in the medieval era. There are some light-hearted goofy moments mixed in as well.
Story-wise I love it. The military jargon is good as well as the transitions from points of view. Spelling needs work or a good editor, but not so bad that you can't understand what the author meant. The grammar does improve further into the story. As of this review, I have read up to chapter 279 and have become a patron.

Captain Blake apparently has a prostate leg...
"He spends over 2 months in the hospital, another 2 months in rehab on using his new prostate leg and 1 more month doing psych-evaluation before returning to the fleet."
    You sir, need an editor

Not bad but also not a masterpiece, i think the main problem is that everything is to one-sided  they always win without loses. Short i think the story is missing true setbacks!
And the special team is to OP without reason!

As of chapter six, the fight scenes are definitely a strong point, very enjoyable (really all there is at the current chap).
But I had to stop reading-dear god, get a proofreader. There are a ton of errors.
If it was properly edited, 4 stars so far? I just couldn't keep going through all the errors.

I'm sure the story gets better give the fact that this is an extremely popular novel, but the grammar is so atrocious that I can't get anywhere into it. The first few chapters (which have been edited) read mostly normally, but it quickly devolves into POV, tense changing, punctuation hell. I genuinely wish I could have gotten into this novel, but it severely needs a once over even if you just throw it through grammarly.
(Given that this is such a popular novel I'm surprised there isn't some sort of fan 'translation' honestly.)

The high reviews suggest that it gets better, but the fact that the author hasn't edited the first few chapters says that he's perfectly fine with subjecting his readers to seemingly random use of punctuation and constant mid sentence shifts between past and present tense.
