- Ambrose1231Royal Road★★★★★ 5.0This novel is hands down the most captivating story I’ve ever had the pleasure to read. The story begins with a flash as we follow Cecil into a beautifully, well crafted world. All of the characters are well flushed out gradually as the story progresses. We learn more of the world, Cecil, his friends and family, and much, much more. Each character has their own unique quirk that makes this story absolutely captivating. As the story progresses we see a few tropes but they don’t feel out of place and help move the story in the direction xxAlter envisioned. In a tale as grand as this expect time skips, power ups, romance (pfft maybe), and all of the training a boy could ask for. If you are looking for a fantastic tale join Cecil and company on an adventure that will keep you coming back for more. I’ve reread this novel several times and each time is better than the one before. Even knowing what will happen in the future doesn’t hold me back as I’m notorious for only reading/watching things once. There is so much more I could say about this novel but don’t want to give away spoilers. Give this story a shot and expect more excitement in the coming chapters.
- Le3viathanRoyal Road★★★★★ 5.0Love the story, the whole world 🌎 went to love into/merge with a alien world that's crazy and exciting! Cel is super strong and hi story is awesome apart from his family and friends he makes great strides to be the best and he shows it through the use of this world magic.
- McBlasterRoyal Road★★★★★ 4.5I read xxAlter's other story Universe Tales, and though I find this story engaging, this one is aimed at a slightly younger audience.
Xanatose's review of this story is too harsh in my opinion, I almost didn't start reading because of it. But the story is a Harem with an oblivious male MC, the other MC is female and she doesn't like the fact her wants/feelings are not being picked up so she's acting out and becomes a slightly bullying character with the persona of a bratty younger sister. It's fine, not my favorite part of the story... But it's fine.
There are a few chapters before the isekai-ing, they left me expecting a slightly different situation. Namely, that he needed his inheritance because his family knew he was going to be transported to a different world where he would gather his strength/gain wealth and find his to-be wife. He would be the martial arts user and she would have the magic. Then they would come back and become the new patriarch & matriarch. But it's not what happens.
So MC is Human, arrives on new world with his trusty pet Silver and meets a female foxkin with 3 tails. Bit of a language barrier to start with. Then some learning of this worlds magic... Then off adventuring they go.
Main characters are fairly OP from the outset and do a lot of battling until they reach the academy... And that's where I've read up to.
Good solid book. No real baddies so far but it's still early on and still in the setup phase.
It's good and I'd recommend it as a relaxed read for those wanting a break from blue boxes. It fantasy rather than progression RPG. 9 out of 10 stars. - PatternRoyal Road★★★★ 4.0The MC doesn't do something - gets physically and verbally abused.

The MC does something clever - gets physically and verbally abused.
I think the author is trying to display a certain "oblivious MC trope" and playing off the dynamics for laughs, but it's not funny, it's way past that point into the toxic, triggering domestic violence territory. And it's not just the MC's friend/girlfiend, it appears like the MC's mother treats his father the same way?
It's problematic, which is a shame, because almost everything else with this story is good. - XanatoseRoyal Road★★★ 2.5Ok so first I like the storyline and the entire premise of it. The story had great potential. However the female characters completely ruin this story to the point I can't continue it. The female characters in this story are some of the most toxic and abusive characters I have seen. Its so bad the female love interest literally tries to kill the MC at one point and then blames him for it because she was frustrated that he wouldn't pick up on her little hints..... And he just shakes it of like its no big deal and he should do better..... WTF. Not ok and just can't do it.
