One Dungeon to Rule Them All
Community Rating
Description
Felix is a man with zero killer instincts who has been taught all his life to only give and serve. But suddenly he is entrusted to run one of the vilest organisms in the universe whose main purpose is to create pain and misery while consuming anything that comes its way. Not something Felix can agree with. So, he tries to change the way of the dungeon, but it fights back and slowly starts to grind his belief system. And soon enough, it becomes difficult to say who is changing who.
In a new world, Felix faces unfathomable realities and countless possibilities. There are monsters to slay and monsters to train. Some to wage a war on and others to befriend. They take all shapes and forms, some even under the cover of human skin. And sometimes it makes it almost impossible to know a friend from a foe. But all of that matters very little once he realizes he may be the biggest monster of them all.
Readers can expect:-a slow-progressing, base-building story.-multiple characters, some more important than others.-no harem, and no quick leveling up.
This is a rewrite with new chapters, improved story flow, and more details that should read better than the original. It is in the same universe, shares parts and will intersect with my other stories.

- Jannis.peRoyal Road★★★★★ 5.0Dungeon stories are usually dark and morbid, but this one has a very little bit of that. So, it certainly was not what I expected. Which is not to say I am not enjoying this story. I love the system and how everything is connected with one another. And all the possibilities. It's one of those stories that can grow and get bigger and bigger. Hope that is exactly what is to happen. Great work so far!
- Kec LoRoyal Road★★★★★ 5.0Usually I do not like dungeon stories since they have too much gore, but this one is very uplifting. I also like the mc who seems to be trying to do the best he can in bad situations, something I can completely relate to. All in all, worth my time.
- ServentoffarRoyal Road★★★★★ 5.0I thought I read a lot of dungeon stories, but I guess I did not read them all. This one takes a somewhat different approach to it, telling it in the present tense from the first person perspective, and I have to say, it is working for me.
Style is good, but it would be much better if there was not so much interaction between the MC and his system. That sometimes gets too old and I wish, the author would move away from it.
Story told is not unique, but there are a lot of different elements inside to make it very interesting, such as having a person's soul engraved in an object that can be traded.
Grammar is not perfect but it is readable and did not present me a problem to downgrade the story completely just based on that mark.
Character is something that I find very interesting. The MC is a very complex person and it seems it has a lot of issues that he is trying to work out. Yet, I find him likeable and that makes me interested to find out how it will all work out for him.
Even as I'm through fourteen chapters, I realize this is a very complex story that can easily span hundreds of chapters before a lot of questions get answered. I hope we do not have to wait that long for at least some of them. But, all in all, I'm glad I found this story here and am eagerly waiting for the next chapter. So, stop reading this review, author, and give us more. Please! - VeeriingroRoyal Road★★★★★ 5.0I love this story and I am reading one chapter after another one, enjoying the action and the constant tension that exist in there. But this is all about a guy who becomes a dungeon but does not want to create monsters, and thus, he is running into trouble all the time. Interesting read, and please, keep those chapters coming!
- XtraRoyal Road★★★★★ 5.0Recommended if you like spontaneity. It is fun. Makes references and puns to other media. It is a story that gets you invested after a while so if you can push through the early parts, you get to the fun parts. It is interesting and I'm excited to see where it goes with the story because it is one of those stories that pays off by taking the time and takes you along for a ride with nice balance of fast and slow pacing.
