On The Tip Of My Tongue

A Dungeons and Dragons short story, written in a 2nd person perspective.

Synopsis:Weary from their last struggle with death, your party approach a village, hoping to take shelter from the winter months. You settle in, stay around, as your party has decided to wait out the worst of the winter chill here before moving onwards. Yet as the rhythms of the village begin to settle in your bones, you never quite fit in right with the village. There was always something different about them. Something, disturbing. Yet none of you broach the subject, opting to go with the flow. It's just a few weeks anyways, what could happen? Best to keep out of trouble after all.

Until the trouble finds you, at least.
