Description

Child. Teenager. Knight. King. Tyrant.

Each one different a time of Reina Romane’s life, each different aspects of her personality

In a world of Artists who can manipulate the Arts, the elements of the world, Reina just wishes to be left alone with the people that took care of her when she was abandoned. However, when she receives a vision of the world being destroyed, she is plunged onto the path of destiny. A game has begun with the sake of the world on the line, and Reina will need to work with the worst parts of her to save her loved ones. An insidious plot is forming and nobody is looking in the right places. People are after Reina; however, it’s not her they want, but something darker within. Something powerful. They will stop at nothing, kill anybody, and cross every line to get what they want, and Reina may be the only thing standing in their way …… if her will is strong enough

This is meant to be a slow burn story with slice-of-life elements to it. There will be action, but it'll take time to get to it. A lot of the focus will be on Reina's time at the school.

Style: The style might be the weakest part of the story. It certainly isn't bad by any means, but the descriptions and actions are written in a short and simple manner, making the reading go by fast and requiring the reader to use more than a bit of their imagination to fill in the blanks. It's a matter of preference, but the story is still a pleasure to read.
Grammar: No flaws I could see. Everything read smoothly and enjoyably. Perfect score for grammar.
Story: At the point of my reading, there is a lot of room for potential. The fact that the story take splace in a super academy opens the gates for all sorts of plot lines and development. The action throughout the story is also fast paced, making for engaging battles.
Character: Characters are great. They're young and eager to get into the hero business. But at the same time, they question what is established by their superiors. Reina especially has a fiery personality, making her memorable and easy to root for in her aspirations. The villains and enemies are fun too. There is also an air of humor among the cast, making them serious but fun at the same time.
Overall, I can definitely say that this is one fun story to read. It's got superheroes. It's gotting fighting. It's got talking crabs. Pretty much the most essential ingredients for an entertaining story!

This is a very fun and entertaining super hero novel with a grand plot foreshadowed from the start. Funny characters, lovable dialouge and good world building. Story is easy to read and flows well. I enjoy the fast pace of the novel. Actions scenes are enjoyable. Could only recommend greater descriptors when it comes to characters and scenery.
Story flows well. Keep it up and great job.

TL;DR : I blazed through the first few chapters of this story, and it took a conscious effort to put it down and summarize my thoughts so far. It's near addicting to read, so I definately would reccomend giving it a shot.
Style : While there are a few tone choices that detract from the narrative, the style was generally fitting. In fact, I think it does a very good job of complimenting the story.
Story : The storyline has been quite chaotic thus far, but there are clear overarching plot hints even now. If a bit more time is taken between and during story arcs, I think they could be much more impactful.
Grammer : I believe I noticed a few syntax errors, but there was nothing distracting enough to impact immersion.
Character(s) : The characters have flair and personality, and the story is very centered around that. I appreciate the effort taken to have multiple main characters, who all come across as real people, if slightly odd.
Overall : I'm having a legitimate blast reading this. It could use some editing to tone down the more exaggerated moments, but it generally flows well. The genre is a weird mix that I have only rarely came across, but it's not unwelcome.

Love to see this kind of fic. It’s not of the brand that comprises RR mainstream, but it absolutely deserves more eyes on it.
Style: 4/5 Some issues with style. The amount of passive voice is a little too high and I wish there was more imagery, but it’s largely readable. Reads kind of like a light novel—if you enjoy reading translated novels that have mostly good prose with a few awkward moments, the style here is perfectly serviceable. Some dialogue is also confusingly tagged earlier on.
Story: 5/5 Loving it so far. I’m a sucker for superhero stories, and the way this one is run is rather unique. I haven’t gotten that far into it so far, but I do enjoy the military control of superheroes as well as the developing intrigue with parts of the world. Excited to read more!
Grammar: 4.5/5 Some small spelling/syntax issues. Nothing major.
Character: 5/5 Multiple POVs are hard. Multiple POVs with characters while maintaining distinct voices, perspectives, and storylines are even harder. Still, Dreamer pulls it off fairly well. Sure, there’s some points where characterization could be stronger, but it’s a fun ride, and that’s what matters. Are these the strongest characters you’ll ever see? No, but they’re entertaining to read about, and that’s what’s important.

A story of superheroes in the system versus the system. Reina rebellious personnality promises her some problems. I'd like to read more about superheros in the system realizing their mistakes. I like the shifts between various points of view very much, it give depth to the world building.
    - Style & Grammar
Style and layout without any problems, the story reads very comfortably. My native language is not English so my opinion is subjective but I didn't see any grammar mistakes.
    - Story
Classic superhero story where the consequences of their actions are ignored which the MC can't stand. She has a mysterious past, and people looking for her, classic tropes which always works. No objective for the MC so far which is a handicap to dive into the story.
    - Character
The characters are well developed and interesting. The changes of point of view allow us to see them from different angles and deepen their personality. Unfortunately, the female characters are sometimes too mature for their age, sometimes falsely immature, so are the relationships between themselves. I'm a lot in psychological stuff so it kind of bothers me but I know that most people won't be. Moreover it's really difficult to write that kind of things right.

The story starts with a clue - something definitely is going on. But what are extents of the conspiracy and how far could its claws reach? We follow a young girl, good at heart, bad at socializing as she does her part of being a local hero. She got powers suitable for her fiery temper - in first chapters we saw her dealing with a moster who she potentially could turn into tempura.
A vast host of characters  was introduced. Some were alright, some asking for a culling. This thing usually can done easily in a hero story, though we have been yet to be shown how cruel the story could get. So far aside of prologue's culprit, no on-screen deaths were shown.
The book so far reminds me of your usual hero story you could set your eyes on. A bit of drama, girls, a bouquet of emotions. If you like young people erupting with emotions - you found what you sought. Taking into account the prologue, humanity most likely has something to do with monsters. And if that happens a certain girl with fiery heart will be there to save the day. Or die trying, if it's that kind of a story :P
Story has a good grammar. No flowery language, but that's not something to be demanded from a hero story. My conclusion is, if you like superheroes, emotional characters and conspiracies - this is a story for you.

This is not a review swap even though the symbol is there
Neverstien: This City is Doomed comes off at first glace as a simple story, but once you start looking beneath the surface, it is setting up for so much more.
Style wise, Neverrstien gives off the impression of a light novel or an old school chapter book. It is simple a to z story telling allowing the world and characters to be set up while slowly unraveling the plot. Whereas some moments are a bit teenage anime-esque in nature, this doesn't take away from it at all. If anything, it allows the story to dive into some dark areas without becoming too grimdark.
At no point did I see any grammar, typo, syntax, or structure issues. If there are any, I completely missed them, which shows that immersion in the story does its job.
The story itself is an easy sueprhero story where the main character is something special compared to the superhero world at large. I've only read so far, but I did get to see the plot starting to form. The worldbuilding itself is top notch, and the pacing is very well done, though my personal wish is that it would get to the plot quicker. However, I'm just impatient.
The characters feel more archetypical rather than well rounded in the first handful of chapters, but that could easily just be a way to establish them. Will have to read on to see if that changes. That being said, the dialogue between them feels natural, and they don't seem to stray from who they are. It does add in to that light novel feel.
Overall, Neverstien works well as a superhero story, and just the kind of thing I used to go out of my way to pick up and read back in the day.

In a world where heroes and villains fight in the open street. One mad young pyromaniac decides to mess everything up. Though to be fair Jhonny never stood a chance. Aside from a few gripes about style, odd phrases, and redundancy. This has the start of a very good story.
MC's heart is mostly in the right place though fire just has a habit of causing unexpected accidents. From burning buildings to tents. Tis the curse of destructive powers. There was even some growth and admittance in being wrong. Which shows that they have accepted that they have room to grow.

This is a pretty interesting Superhero novel.  It isn't just a basic story, the world is more complex than a simple, people have powers story..  The world building is detailed and deep, the characters fully developed, and grammar is good.  I don't think the blurb makes any sense, even after reading this far.  But it's a good story with a rollicking plot. You should check it out.

This is solid piece from a prolific writer who puts out quite a bit of content. If you're invested in the story, you'll be pleasantly surprised by how often updates happen!
Grammar: There were a couple of minor issues that I noticed. Otherwise it's solid.
Character Score: This is the best part of the story. Reina is likeable, has interesting powers, and a good deal of attitude that makes her fun to read about. I also like the idea of the government regulated super heroes.
Story Score: The story is quite interesting, and gets you hooked right out of the gate with the giant crab fighting. World building tidbits are dropped in and the capitlized letters around some of the 'things' that are going on are really well placed for maximum intrigue.  After the heart pumping opening, the author slows down a bit on action but not on story development.
Style Score: This piece is deliberatly written in a way that might be unusual for some readers, but I give the author full props for doing it, and for nailing it. It reads like a teenager might think or talk and I think that it lends itself well to the characters and situations in the story. If you're looking for poetic/methaphorical/heady type writing, this isn't your story. BUT if you are looking for fun, fast paced believable story telling, this is exactly your piece!
