Description

Nina is a young priestess who has just begun her journeys through the highlands, ancient home of the Clans.

But unknown powers are scheming in the darkness, and everything falls apart when the barbaric Northmen suddenly come looking for her.

Being too weak to fight, she will have to resort to her wits, trust unexpected allies, and navigate through unforgiving lands in order to survive.

Will she be up to the task?

Currently in the process of rewriting the story. Chapter 18 out of 20 already rewritten.

The pacing is great. The characters are allowed time to breathe.This is something that a lot of writers forget. They are eager to get to th best part that they don't allow thier characters to slowly develop and mature. I also like the dialogue. It's appropriate for the situation and feels natural. Really great stuff. Can't wait to read more!

I can't seem to find any issues at the start. Plot is explained at an pretty average level, though I'm guessing it is going to get expanded later in the story. There were some minor issues with the characters but I'm guessing that going to get fixed as well. Pacing is something I really can't complain about. Overall something I'd read in my spare time.

Straight to the point, I only complaint about the heavy description does pace down the story and make the reading a bit anti-emersive.
The writing style is readable. The heavy use of descriptive subject pronouns causes the reading experience to be a little annoying. Personally would prefer use of names or general pronouns a little more and only use descriptive pronouns sparingly. I feel like screaming at the narrator "Fark! I know! Rudo is a dragon! Just call him Rudo!" 😵
The story is a standard fantasy action adventure with a darker ancient war time background. The non-human protagonist in a human world did make the story interesting in the perspective. Alrhough Nina's perspective is the main focus point. I personally prefer to read about Rudo's. I give the story a 4 star for the interesting MC that carry the plot. Might update this score since I just read about 10 chapters and the heavy description did slow my reading down a lot. If you prefer descriptive slow story, may be this is what you want to chew... slowly.
Grammar is not something i will review. So far there's no glarring problem on the sentences.
The characters are well fleshed out, with all those description, readers sure get all the nuances of all yhe characters. Nina a priestess well mannered, petite and virtuos. Rudo just a talking animalistic creature that his innocense simply created a lot of jokes and "troubles" for Nina. Overall, Rudo is a fun character to read. While the other characters are well described too, even the villains. Enough revealing the spoilera, I'll let other readers to go read them!
