Description
In the fractured world of Nisteria, where ancient memories and new wars intertwine, survival is never enough — only transformation can grant true freedom.
Kahari Miraki thought he would live a simple life as a blacksmith’s apprentice, raising his younger sisters and honoring his family’s quiet legacy. But when a Night Talon raid destroys his home and shatters everything he holds dear, he is thrust into the brutal, shifting battlefield between mortals, monsters, and gods. With no home left to return to, Kahari chooses the dangerous path of an adventurer, binding his fate to a makeshift family he finds along the way.
Together, they journey across a land where the rules of life and death are twisted by reincarnation, divine interference, and the endless war against the Night Talons — a splinter faction of adventurers who have forsaken honor for cruelty. As Kahari and his companions fight monsters, endure harsh winters, and explore dungeons where the memories of their past lives threaten to consume them, they slowly awaken hidden strengths — and hidden wounds.
And when the past refuses to stay dead, and the gods themselves begin to stir, the party faces choices that will ripple across their world for centuries to come. Not through grand empires or world-ending cataclysms — But through quiet, personal acts of loyalty, sacrifice, and stubborn hope.
In Nisteria, salvation does not come from fate. It is earned, inch by painful inch — by those who refuse to be forgotten.

- Consistent MilkRoyal Road★★★★★ 4.5The Nisteria Chronicles has a good story. It is a fantasy novel set in a rather 'traditional' fantasy world with familiar creatures and concepts. The characters show depth and the descriptions are vivid enough but are too long most of the time that you feel a desire to skim through them and miss important world-building and character development aspects.
Style: I am personally not a fan of the way the author wrote the story. There are too many "walls of text", i.e, expositions and descriptions that weren't handled well. Yet the actual storytelling itself is very engaging. The world and characters felt interesting and relatable.
Story: This is a story set in a rather familiar fantasy world with progressive elements like 'stats'. Several conflicts and cultural, social plot threads move organically at their own pace and weave together at points that give rise to complexity in the overall story.
Grammar: Not really good at grammar myself, but I didn't notice anything that broke my immersion.
Characters: The characters are surprisingly well written and detailed. Shows good psychological depth and personal motivations. The social structure of the world also felt engaging. Yet like I said the long expositions make it hard to take in everything the characters have to offer.
