- AnotherNameRoyal Road★★★★★ 5.0I found this novel to be really well made and enjoyable to read.

With an interesting world revealed throughout the story, it all leads to a very good novel! - Stonefox01Royal Road★★★★★ 5.0I really enjoyed this read, and am hoping to keep up with it for the foreseeable future. The magic system(s) are fairly understandable but they certainly have not been fully explored. I like the mc, she becomes more independant as the story progresses which makes sense and I really like, it is fun to watch her growth.
I hope to see more magically focused progression in the future for our mc, she can do some interesting stuff that just begs more exploration. But I am here more for the characters and plot than a power fantasy or something.
Again I had fun reading this, thank you shayk for writing this so far and I hope you continue to enjoy the process. You made me stay up a few hours later than planned. - fruancjhRoyal Road★★★★★ 5.0A fantastic story of witchy self discovery and waltzing to your own tune while existing alongside society. I love the world that you’ve crafted, it feels like a rich tapestry with witches, Zombies, and knights from a bygone era. Looking forward to seeing what adventures she will get up to next. I enjoy that there are moments of calm between the arcs and the wide cast of recurring characters.
- reil-rhiilRoyal Road★★★★★ 5.0If you enjoy a tale about a scrappy young critter battling through their world, their trauma, and common sense in general, then I suspect you'll like this story!
STYLE: first person with occasional alternative POV's and interesting stakes. The pacing is solid, a nice slow stomp on the gas pedal to hook you in and keep you reading. Some more attention could be paid to side characters and physical descriptions of the world around them, but the cast is engrossing and the world compelling. (A local and/or world map would do wonders)
GRAMMAR: Solid, typos here and there but mostly things like wondering instead of wandering, very forgivable.
STORY: VERY good, the story is very much defined by the main character Valeria and how she responds to the world around her, as it should be. There is a certain amount of YA fiction plot armor, but boy howdy does Valeria really push at the limits of it.
CHARACTER: Like I said, this is Valeria's story, as a character she is very compelling. Flawed, deeply but not darkly. Bright but not a genius. Capable of wicked cool stuff but not remotely good at everything. Not a Mary Sue, which is nice. Her motivations are a product of her trauma, and I don't think even she really understands who she is, which is great, because we get to find out alongside her!
Good story! - FantasticTeaManRoyal Road★★★★★ 4.5A great story that hooked me from the start. Great characters, great plot and great world.
Pros:
The story doesn't outright explain how things work but it's slowly exposed as we see more and more which I really like.
The MC is a little passive and powerless at first but that changes as she grows more confident in herself.
cons:
Sentences feel strange sometimes with missing words or structure.
Some scenes are hard to follow without a description of the space they're taking place in. It's not a big problem for most things but I couldn't really visualise the layout of cities and larger buildings so it was a bit confusing but honestly not that important. - Nik_KRoyal Road★★★★ 3.5I’m not much of a specialist in writing concise reviews.
I liked the author’s imagination, in terms of the protagonist’s adventures and maintaining intrigue, and the world-building is good, although it unfolds very slowly.
After reading 40+ chapters, a decent plot starts to take shape, but it develops very slowly, in my opinion. The narration is mostly in the first person, which is an advantage, and it’s mostly from the protagonist’s point of view, which suits his age range and the style of the narrative. His reactions to different situations are well-written. I’m not sure if the author intentionally writes this way, but if the character matures, the text will need to be adjusted to a more adult narrative style.
I liked the protagonist, he’s sympathetic and quite realistic. At times, he’s incredibly naively childish, but not stupid. As the story progresses, you start to sympathize with him.
**Cons and why I stopped reading, even though I wanted to continue:**
The number of events that happen to the protagonist is simply overwhelming! It’s like everything is pouring down on her from a cornucopia! Sometimes, even every day, something happens to her, especially when things are constantly stolen or attempted to be stolen. She’s always in the middle of everything—falling, getting injured, and collecting a ton of problems on her shoulders. Give the poor character a break for a few days! Let her heal, read some books, maybe gain a little wisdom!
