a unique and original story in my opinion.(of course I know you used some FF/WN/LN/Wuxia,etc as reference which is alright)

You were able to make the beginning more fluid than most others and it doesn’t really matter if the mc is OP from the start but it does make it harder to come up with challenges for him so all I can say is that this story has potential and good luck!
BTW:Don’t be discouraged by the grammar errors, you’ll get better as you go further along the road, happens to the best of us.I’ll be waiting for the next chapter and again GUD LUCK!

its good.. personaly . i like OP MC like "death marching in parallel world" if ypu know it... when i read this.. im really upset cuz his memories are gone... i thought he would stay OP but keep the story interesting... some might say being OP is boring but it depends on the author... well what can i say.. overall i like it :)

I joined this forum today from your WordPress blog, after seeing the post about royal road.
Congratz in the getting Top 20 on the popular this week section.
Reading the previous review, I have my own comments.
1. This story is great, it is original to many extents. Some are similar to others, but lets be honest, which of the ones out there are 100% original with nothing from others.
2. Scifi, cultivation and many aspects make it an interesting set-up.
3. I was a little put off at first with lack of character dev for the MC, I think many of the readers do too. But it gets more refined as you released more chapters.
You seem to be applying the peeling back the layers of the onion style with the MC, his character development becomes more apparent as time goes on.
4. Your support cast are well written and some do have nice back stories.
5. You MC is not totally overpowered from the start, and many chapters do go into details on his hardworking attitude.
I do not like those super OP-ed MC who seems to win everytime, and then they meet an even more tougher enemy. These usually becomes repetitive and no longer a joy to read.
I am not seeing it now in your story, which is good in that sense.
6. Nicely placed cliffhangers in some chapters.
7. Good build up of side stories, makes me want to read everytime a chapter is released to find out more.
8. My biggest issue is with the time jump, however some credit for filling up the gap of those years in the later chapters of Volume 2. Due to this, the story loses 1/2 a star, instead of one.
9. Plenty of unexpected things, a good point. Most of us do not like monotony.
10. Story is not rush and there is presence of suspense building up in many of the chapters.
In summary
The novel is well written, with some typos and grammar errors, but these are irrelevant to the actual story.
The story is good, well written and always leaves questions in my mind. These questions prompt me to read further and I am satisfied many of them are answere

I like your story! I've been reading a lot of xianxia web novels recently (CD, MGA, ATG, CSG, WDQK, MGS, TDG, PMG, etc.) and your story has some very similar elements and apart from a few grammatical errors it's quite well written. I feel like the introduction chapters with Long are a bit pointless, after all he gets his Soul Deity thing, which basically means he gets mindwiped and some random twerp with whom he has no connection (different mind, different personality) gets all the benefits of his millenia of cultivation while he's well, mindwiped and basically dead. So I don't see the point of creating such an in depth backstory if it's just going to end up tossed / unused.

I dont know why some authors want to start their stories with some glorious over powered MC.
I wouldnt agree with the reviews. This isn’t a great story.
It follows the template of building up like every mass produced xianxia but this one lacks tension.
Each and every chapter doesn’t even focus on what is building up. The power up/improvements just pops out and the narration of the actual struggle/effort to improve is omitted.
It is like ordering a bowl of ramen but you get instant ramen in a cup instead
Like reading a myth. But not living it while reading it. You really picked the right title for it.
I dont even know if Xiaoxia is actually the MC. Because your side characters gets more character development than him. Look how little you describe xiaoxia and look how you portray the princess, his instructors and the old man. Your MC is like a side character.
Your story grows weak as time goes on. It has messed up foundations. You focused on the wrong things.
it is unique alright.. more to the world than to the MC.. like a better version of Overseer. You can edit out the character and make it a first person view so it will be like watching a interactive 3D movie.
Your MC doesn't even get a few sentences in a chapter.. good luck
