My True Successor

Salnys is a 2nd-year student at Elanin Academy of Magical and Knightly Endeavors. It's a fairly pricy, but very prestigious academy. He's looking forward to his 2nd year of school and his first day goes great, but as he's walking back to his dorm he's attacked and barely makes it through, he tells the school authority and continues with his day and, while still jarred, pushes the incident to the back of his mind. He's got classes to prepare for, and regardless, it can't get any worse than this, right?
