Description

Not me stupidly choking on instant noodles, reincarnating into a cultivation world, and deciding to live my life out as an immortal sword cultivator.

It could be worse.

(PSA: don't choke on instant noodles. Better yet, don't eat instant noodles. Eat instant RICE! Wait, no, you can choke on that, too. Okay, just don't choke).

After reading this more I've found that the novel is even more hilarious! Though it's mostly the protagonist, some antagonists have some straight up WACKY motivations, and I love it! It's absolutely hilarious how the protagonist interacts with people, it's just plain silly no matter the circumstance, with even the most serious of occasions being funny, and I love it! Also if i'm being honest, this is just pure comedy.

Gonna be honest here, I read this novel thinking that it was a xianxia parody featuring a funny farmer cultivating some field of “herbs”. After all, the cover picture literally has a farmer/gardener holding a hoe, so it should be within expectation, right?
Well, kinda. See, while this is indeed a xianxia parody, my assumption regarding the protagonist’s occupation, as well as the story’s direction, was wayyy off
    Style and Story:
This story has all the usual tropes of a xianxia novel, such as a “talentless”, “useless” main character that starts from the very bottom… for like 3 chapters. Afterwards, she just undergoes a super effective training arc that results in her becoming a super coolTM immortal. Once this is done, the main character then goes around solving all kinds of wacky shenanigans while acting cool and mysteriousTM (though that last part is debatable)
You might read the above and think that I am not being serious. But, guess what? The story itself is not being serious, and it actually thrives on that! This novel, at its core, is a light-hearted parody of the cultivation genre, and it certainly makes for an entertaining read
    Grammar:
There is no problem on this part. Let’s carry on so that I can talk about-
    Character:
The protagonist is the main selling point of this novel. In the very first chap, she chokes on instant noodles and gets reincarnated. Yes, you heard that right, instant noodles. She is snarky and can dish out quite the witty banter. The world is her oyster and she is here to live her best life, all while being clueless most of the time
Side characters are a treat, especially the antagonists. So far, most of the villains are super wacky and silly, resulting in some very humorous interactions that you could not help but burst out laughing. No super big bad has appeared yet, though I can easily image the hilarity that would occur once one comes along
All in all, this novel does not only turn all the cliché on their head but also offers a fun tak

First of all this is my first review on Royal Roads so it may be lacking compared to other. Secondly this the story of a overpowered immortal going around and helping a bunch of people often with a pinch of bizarre that make the situation funny and underwhelming. All in all this a good read for a nice relaxation session.
