Description
In a land where autumn reigns eternal, a princess destined for greatness rises from the ashes of her shattered kingdom.
Princess Aurelith, heir to the magical Kingdom of Emberveil, lost everything when demons corrupted her homeland and claimed it for their own. Orphaned and exiled, she found refuge among the forest elves of Everspring, where centuries of training honed her extraordinary powers over wind magic, archery and dagger skills and diplomacy.
Now, at 180 years old, Aurelith is no longer the sheltered princess she once was. She’s a master of magic, a legendary archer, and a respected advisor, yet her true destiny remains unfulfilled. Haunted by the memory of Emberveil’s fall and burdened by her people’s hope, she must embark on a perilous journey to improve herself, gather allies and eventually reclaim her kingdom and confront the Demon Lord who took it.

Apology in advance
This is my first novel and English is not my mother tongue.
There's a lot of things that needs to be improved.
So, the writing style is going to change (hopefully I learn a thing or two on the way and improve)
If the style is weird or something needs improvement, Please feel free to comment, put suggestions or please let me know.
Your feedback and input is valuable to me.
This is all. I hope you have a great read and a great day.
Cheers.

- ICEdingerRoyal Road★★★★★ 4.5The story centers around Aurelith, an elven princess trained in magic, archery, and close combat with daggers. She is a competent MC who is seeking to reclaim her rightful place and restore her fallen kingdom. For the breakdown:
Style: 4/5
The story is overall written well, but there are some minor problems with repeated phrases at the time of review. I sometimes was a little confused about the purpose behind some of the point-of-view changes. The bones are good and, besides those few critiques, it was great.
Story: 5/5
As mentioned above, the plot is a pretty classic one. Aurelith has spent her life training to be a demon-killing machine, and it comes through in the action sequences. The first three chapters set up a journey to restore a fallen elven city and take on a greater demon threat that is becoming more and more organized. Great stuff so far.
Grammar: 5/5
I didn't notice any grammar mistakes. The story is well proofread and there were no misspellings or poor punctuation that detracted from what I read.
Character: 5/5
The characters are pretty great. So far, they are a lot of classic archetypes: the stern father figure, buffoonish rival, eccentric scientist, but it doesn't feel overly tropey. I enjoyed Elena especially. I think the MC is enjoyable to read and there are some pretty stellar moments of badassery.
Overall: 4.5/5
The story so far was a pleasure to read. The setup and characters felt familiar, but not tired or tropey. The author uses that familiarity to jump right into the action in a way that doesn't feel jarring yet is still fast-paced. Minor style issues like repetitive phrasing and unexplained point-of-view swaps. I enjoyed what I read and would recommend giving "Moon's Rain" a shot! - nyctophilusRoyal Road★★★★★ 4.5We enter on Aurelith, who has a century of training with a team of advisors to back her up. She is powerful and competent at multiple skills from the start, but has a few reckless moments that betray that she's really only been book learning up until this point. Extraordinary powers is definitely true. If you like a powerful MC, with only room to grow, Aurelith might be for you. The threats are clear from the jump, and there are a lot of places this story could go. Overall, the fantasy vibe is a blend of modern and familiar - there are some classic elements (the elves, dwarves and humans are exactly what you expect), but some newer trends in the mix like skills, potions, etc.
Style: 4/5
Chronology is maintained clearly and there are some sentences that are well written and hit super hard when you read them, usually at the punchy moments you want one. For me the challenge was transitioning between first and third person, so a warning if you think that will be jarring for you.
Story: 5/5
What i read up to sets up a clear entry to the plot - it defines the enemy, the main character and appears to give a good feel for how moments in this story will progress. It also appears to be setting up a power-up/training arc if that interests you. I would give it until Chapter 3 if you are trying it out to get a feel for what the author and story is going to be like.
Grammar: 5/5
I noticed no spelling mistakes. The grammar I spotted was mostly "I don't know if that's right or not but I'm not going to correct it because I might be wrong", I am by no means a professional at grammar. Nothing immersion breaking.
Character: 5/5
I think some of the side characters are the most engaging. They enter strong, and are quirky and fun to read, and honestly left me wanting them to return (Caladwen, you're my fav). I like the human moments the most. There's plenty of trading barbs and quirky quips if you like that, but I enjoyed the times when failures and reflections caught up to characters the - AlexanderScottRoyal Road★★★★ 4.0This story opens with a dreaming advisor AURELITH, being asked into a meeting with Humans come to visit the Elves in their home of Everspring.
Supposedly the humans come in peace, but one never knows with the Demon Lord's influence in the land. The palace intrigue begins right away, with some back and forth negotiations (are they really coming in peace or no?). But then the revelation of a young man KAEL, who came with the humans after they discovered him in a burned village and brought him along. Somehow, this young boy knows Aurelian's true identity, speaks her native tongue, can sense magic being used, and seems to have ancient knowledge far beyond his years. He says he will return in two years. What is going on—this is a fascinating opening!
What an intriguing start to the story, thought I'm sure there's so much more to come! Enjoy this one, if you like courtly games, politics, and intriguing human/elven relations and more.
I did think some of the description could have been shown in the actions of the main characters, instead of purely described. And this chapter felt a little long for the opening piece—there are several breaks in the chapter. Maybe break it into smaller chunks? This would make the reading experience simpler/faster.
All in all, very interesting ideas!
