Description

This is the life of a young man making his way in a world where very sexualized monster girls are as common as clothes and can be strong enough to be considered apocalyptic.

This is mostly a wish fulfillment novel I am writing for myself, though the mc will face trials that he will need to overcome. Expect sporadic uploads and there maybe changes to the continuity if I feel the story is going too out of wack.

Some stories you read hoping for the equivalent of fine dining. Other stories you read hoping for the equivalent of unhealthy but tasty junk food. This story very much falls into the latter category. If I was judging it by the standards of literary fine dining, it would fail- but as a piece of literary junk food, it mostly succeeds at its job. It has definite grammatical mistakes littered throughout, the beginning feels like a clumsy info dump, and characters keep getting introduced and not followed up on. Despite all of these negatives, there is one major positive that outweighs all of them. And that positive is that the story is fun to read, never trying to be something it isn't, never taking itself too seriously, and just being overall enjoyable.
For a reader looking for a mindless yet entertaining monster girl fic, there is only a single true warning I can think of. And that is the lack of description given to the monster girls. I don't think it counts as a spoiler to describe the monster girls' appearances, so long as I don't spoil any characters or their role in the plot. If I'm wrong about this, I'll be happy to add spoiler tags to this example.
In chapter 3, a monster girl is introduced and described as 'a rather emaciated flower girl'. The next two sentences describe a species-specific tell that she is in poor health. On the surface that sounds like plenty of description- except all it basically says is that she looked youthful instead of mature due to poor health. Plant-based monster girls come in a wide variety of appearances, and the chapter leaves me with no way to tell which of these aesthetics she has beyond it being somehow floral.
So far, the other monster girls introduced in later chapters have a similar lack of description. Readers of monster girl stories often take great interest in having the
