Miyr: A school life in a dungeon world

In the year of 2020, “gates” opened up around the world. Within them, and soon to be outside of them, were monsters from beyond humanity’s wildest imagination. As humans awakened similar fantastical powers, some became “hunters” who brought the world back to an uneasy peace.

The year now is 2040. In Seoul, South Korea, a peculiar student begins attending the National Academy for the Awakened—the most prestigious hunter high school in the country. He’s strong yet studious, polite yet blunt…

And he has more hunting experience than all the other students combined.

Lim Suho is a kid from the countryside who’s protected his village from rogue monsters and unstable gates for years, without the help of professional hunters. His life was saved when the village elders adopted him as a young orphan, so he’ll do anything to make them happy.

This time, they’ve urged him to go to school.

Suho just wants to get good grades, graduate, and go back home. Maybe even make a friend or two along the way.

It’s too bad the monsters seem to have other plans.
