Mistwood

When 20-year-old magus Rowan makes a deal to have his Status reset in exchange for an escape from his old life, he finds himself in a quiet part of the kingdom, where the available bachelors are few and the magic is rich. Living outside of Mistwood Village, he works on creating a home for himself, befriending the locals, and enjoying a more laid-back life without worry or stress.

Though he's no longer as powerful as he once was, it doesn't take him long to build back up a fraction of the power he held before the deal was struck. Rowan would rather use his magics for cutting firewood and raising kids with a husband than to hunt for his survival, anyway.

Important Notes:

1) Rowan is OP and as stated, regains some of his former strength relatively fast. He also has basic-to-decent skills in a wide variety of other areas. This is not a story of struggle, it's a cozy story so expect things to be easy and laid-back.

2) Don't expect drama, conflict, politics, action, etc. It's a cozy story about Rowan settling down. Don't even expect a plot outside of what's literally stated in the blurb. The slice-of-life tag is serious for this story and it can be slow-paced at times.

3) While there'll be semi-frequent-to-occasional detailed/explicit sex scenes, it'll remain within RoyalRoad's allowed amount and also be no more than 5% of the wordcount of the story. While it will be with at least two or three guys throughout the story, itwill notbe a harem and he'll only be in a relationship with a single guy at a time (possibly ever), hence the lack of the related tag.
