Description
[Fake Aristocrat + Empress Regnant + Identity Concealment + Charisma + Nation-building + Personal Growth]
Luo Wei has transmigrated. She finds herself in the body of a lowborn commoner who had impersonated a noble lady to enter school. She's about to be exposed as a commoner, facing contempt and insults from the entire school, and ultimately destined to be hanged at the marketplace gallows.Luo Wei: What's there to fear? It's just pretending to be nobility. As someone from the 21st century, she can act more noble than the nobles themselves! When a noble lady tries to test her with expensive spices, Luo Wei takes one look: Aren't these just common seasonings found everywhere in Western cuisine? As if she's never tasted them before!
They say she's a commoner who can't do geometry? Luo Wei smiles slightly: Isn't it just trigonometric functions? She learned that in middle school! What? They say she's poor and has no money? She casually produces an entire bolt of silk fabric to make pajamas, and while she's at it, makes a chest full of silk handkerchiefs, using them once and tossing them away. They say she has no fief and isn't a true noble? Hah! She makes money by day and reclaims land by night. While attending school, she's busy cultivating land. Soon, millions of square kilometers of fertile soil in the New World are all hers. She establishes her own country and ennobles herself! Finally, her identity is exposed by an old acquaintance. The Holy Church wants to put her on trial, presenting evidence that she's not a noble - they couldn't find her patent of nobility in the Mist Kingdom.Luo Wei: A noble title? Sorry, she indeed doesn't have one. Because she is the Empress Regnant of the Mist Kingdom!
In the end, she abolishes the aristocratic system, establishes a new country, and becomes a deity in the hearts of countless commoners.
She promises them peace and prosperity; they pledge her their loyalty and faith.
She, ultimately, becomes ...

- CaiChiCatRoyal Road★★★★★ 5.0There's a lot that happened so far and one of the things I like that has happened is that she's getting people from different faiths in her circle rather then just recruiting new followers. I can already see how big and diverse her kingdom will be!
I hope there'll be a manga/manga adaptation of this one day because there's a lot of elements that if imagine would be great to see in picture form. Though I know it's a long shot but maybe even an animation. - Kryztl7Royal Road★★★★★ 5.0Love the story, hoping it gets completed. If anyone has read anything even half as good please let me know! Best story I came across so far in a while. I am leaving this review after reading up to 186 🥰
Minimal errors within the writing and some interesting character concepts (in my opinion). Definitely looking forward to it's completion of possible 🥰 - PomenRoyal Road★★★★★ 5.0I like the premise of the story, I like my isekai. Although the cover picture was a bit misleading, cause when I started reading, I had thought it was an ancient Chinese setting but turns out it’s like a parallel universe Medieval Europe.
I like the authors humour, I was smiling throughout the interactions of the mc with the other characters. It’s cute and funny!
I like how the author introduced the plot points. It all seemed so natural, thought no doubt lots of planning is probably involved in creating this!
Point is I love reading this book! - adamantiumRoyal Road★★★★★ 5.0This is a very fun read, though it has some enjoyable darker elements and an underlying mystery that leads you to false conclusions only to twist you around and show you a different perspective.
All while the main character enjoys getting rich and experiencing the horrors of medieval sanitation.
The magic system is pretty interesting with some minor elements of cultivation, but mostly magical academia and political intrigue.
The main character can be kind, without being stupidly so, and she can be vicious without being callous towards the lives of others.
I'm mostly interested as to what's up with the dark gods... - RRMikeRRRoyal Road★★★★★ 4.5I am enjoying this very much. The story and characters are developing very nicely. I was originally concerned that the story was going to focus too much on face slapping scenes, which can be quite entertaining in moderation, but at the expense of plot building but author has avoided this pitfall. Good job! Early chapters are enjoyably heavy on face slapping but story development gains afterwards. Character, plot and world building are proceeding nicely. I was concerned that the antagonist Axina’s character and motivations were lacking in depth but those details are shared in subsequent chapters although, in my opinion, sharing some details sooner would better establish the commitment to a more serious plot and character building story.
- CatgurlRoyal Road★★★★ 3.5Both fun and annoying. If you like over-the-top anime and Scarlet O'Hara in Gone With the Wind (minus the obsessions with Tara and Ashley and the need to batten on every male around), then this is your jam. If not, look elsewhere.
Spelling and grammar are ok. This is a translation, which may explain some inconsistencies in character behavior, etc. Or not as translation seems good; the only way I know this is a translation is that character names are not translated in a few places.
Prose is good and the story mostly has good flow, although it started to feel somewhat bogged down where I stopped reading.
Interesting and well-researched info on mythology, mideval life and manufacturing in the early part of the story, which sadly seems to get dropped as the story progresses. Too bad as I love the info on mideval life - brutal but fascinating. Also love the info on manufacturing processes - ended up googling to find out more.
Morality is very asian; all over the place from a westerner viewpoint, which is also interesting. Some motivations that may be obvious to someone familiar with asian culture are opaque or seem nonsensical to me - maybe due to my western mindset (or maybe my generic western face - who knows). Not a fan of the darker actions and attitudes but, again, interesting and I feel I learned something.
Morality (or lack thereof) is probably in line with that of the average billionaire, which apparently MC was before being isekaied. Billionaires do not beome rich because they lack ruthlessness. So maybe this is more billionaire mindset than asian mindset? Or maybe both? Ah well. Still foreign to me and interesting, though also distinctly repulsive.
I both like and dislike the MC. MC thinks she is kind without being a pushover, but self-interest and a personal agenda are always a large part (or all) of her motivation. She is sometimes very smart, in other ways shockingly dumb. I like it when Luo Wei outwits others, not so much when she outwits herself with the - EmptyOwlRoyal Road★★★ 2.5Starts pretty good but the MC suffers from power creep. She constantly adds new powers, skills and abilities out of nowhere. I quit reading when they built a glider Gilligan's Isle-style (bamboo and vines) then flew it over the ocean. It is almost *so* good, but the lack of character descriptions and the MC's (Batman-esque) abilities ruin it.
- UmbralRoyal Road★★★ 2.5I want to give this story a higher score but I can't in good conscience.
Fundamentally it is somewhat enjoyable as a low commitment read on the commute, but overall the story has a lot of issues.
The biggest for me is the world building. The world is a mess off different tropes thrown at a wall to see what sticks. Nothing really makes sense as a cohesive whole.
The second biggest issue is the antagonists at the school. Both of the two main antagonists are incredibly stupid and cartoonish in their schemes.
The novel description makes it seem as if we are going to have an intelligent MC taking refuge in audacity to work her way up noble society, but unfortunately this story isn't that. - LumexRoyal Road★★ 2.0I would like to give the Story a good review but I cannot in good conscience do that. The idea isnt bad and its a fun read however there are quite a few issues.
First the positives: the Antagonists are quite comically incompetent and some of the chapters have a very nice Humor. Overall the Ideas of the world building are amazing and very creative.
For one, there have been two instances where the Names of characters got aprubtly changed, its very off putting.
The second thing is that the whole world building and sometimes backstories sound inconsistent. I get that the MC is OP but atleast have a consistent backstory.
Spoiler warning!
In the beginning chapters we learn that the MC was an office worker, we do not learn alot about her Backstory except that she had a Bachlor in Textile and Material Engineering abd that she was into weird yt tutorials.
Later she offhandedly mentions that she owned 4.5million Dollar jewlwery and that supposedly explains her knowledge about Gems?!
The storyline seems quite inconsistent sometimes and the Grammar could definitely be improved.
If you are looking for a fun light story with not alot of commitment, then I can recommend this - halycon404Royal Road★★ 2.0The first 50-70 chapters or so aren't completely horrible. It's a light silly read.
After that forget it. The story tries to move the plot forward into major world building instead of a magic academy story it is and comes crashing down. The mythology is ill thought out. The larger world politics are moronic. The quarter out thought ideas on magical races is horrible.
This novel feels like a bad translation. Not English Second Language. Someone wrote a story and someone else is doing a completely amateur translation.
