Description

In a remote magical laboratory, buried deep beneath the earth, an unspeakable demonic horror is brought into the world…

Her name is Lilizath VekxZ’Kraugh (Lily for short). She enjoys cuddling, stargazing, and devouring the torn apart bodies of her enemies. The demon girl rampages across a fantasy world, satisfying her demonic urges while making friends with various terrified humans.

Meanwhile, an honest young lady leaves her peaceful life behind to embrace her destiny as the chosen one. Things go horribly wrong almost immediately and a random act of violence spares her from a very unpleasant evening.

Well written, perfectly balanced between lighthearted and shockingly direct.
Protagonist is an adorable machine of death and carnage that walks between a cat and something born of the nightmares of the doomslayer.
Brutal, sweet, funny, gory, silly, heavy and light.
    Read it.

Phenomenal dark fantasy story with a beautiful mix of romance, action, violence, sex, mystery! The pacing is great, with comedic moments balancing horror and pain. Very genuine characters.
I really enjoyed it, and I'm looking forward to more. Do take the content warnings seriously - there is rape and brutality and violence to children.

Overview: This is one of the best stories I have read this summer. I have read a lot of stories this summer. Once I started reading, I finished before realizing it was 5am and I lost my chance for sleep.
Style: The POV switches are all to characters whose viewpoint matter to the reader, and none of them take the focus away from the main character for too long.
Story: Just 22 chapters in, the shadows of at least 2 conspiracies can be found, introduced in a natural way as the MC and retinue move through the world. Conflics between allies are shown from both perspectives, which I like.
Grammer: I have not noticed any spelling or grammar errors while reading that are major enough to remember after a day.
Character: So far, there are 3 characters that I adore, with another nearing the end of her trial perdiod. Important characters are fleshed out as the story progresses, and no one present for more than a chapter or two without growing or showing more depth.

I was a bit iffy at the beginning, but you did great with this, I'm loving Lily and I want to see more of Zoe. Plus the xxx scenes are good and getting better as it progresses, can't wait for more!
(Up till Ch. 30 Birthday 2 I think it was called)

    Story Score: 5/5
Take a real story that would be interesting enough to overcome lousy writing and flat characters... and combine it with excellent writing and fantastic characters.
It's dark, but not grimdark, and that makes all the difference. Some moments are heartbreaking, others are funny. In fact, I laughed so hard I woke up my wife at two am - while we were on vacation.
    Style & Grammar Score: 5/5
Exceptionally well done, from grammar to character voices, it feels like a professionally written book.
    Character Score: 5/5
It does a fantastic job of avoiding everything I dislike about the "Born Sexy Yesterday" trope. Lily is sexy, and she was born yesterday, but she isn't here to be the reader's fantasy girlfriend. She doesn't need a mentor figure to guide her like Leeloo from The Fith Element.
Lily is deadly and self-motivated from the start... even as she names a monster 'big-grey-fur-growl-bites.'
She doesn't straddle the line between being a terrifying murder monster and a cute young woman. She happily jumps back and forth anytime she desires.
    I absolutely love her character.
    She's perfect!

tl;dr: interesting perspective, superb characters, good from start to finish (no cliff at the end). Recommended.
This is a story that's actually written from the perspective of a demon. It has a slice-of-life kind of vibe and the story doesn't really progress that much, but with 500 pages it's short enough that it doesn't become stale. I do want to know how it goes on, but I don't lose sleep over it.
She has different instincts and priorities than humans and I like how the story plays out and I had some good laughs seeing her try to understand the humans she interacts with.

I decided to be generous and rate based on everything up to ch 13. It is a lighthearted funny-dark about a demon girl who just dosn't understand people. She is a catlike cuddle-monster and I really liked her misadventures with her pet humans.
What I didn't like was the sudden tone shift to misery porn at ch 13. The author must have gotten stuck and descided to got crazy at that point. A shame as it was looking like a nice base for something.

A really good read, a definite recommend even if it got frozen, cause if it's thawed, I will rejoice. A genius way to write abomination characters that shows that even not being human that they can possess humanity, in a round-about sort of way.
I need to get to 50 words for the review

I read the story maybe two years ago, so I don't remember all the minutea clearly, take that into account when consulting my opinion. When I read it, it was initially and while thereafter my favourite entry on the site, but my opinion has since soured upon reflection.
The Misadventures Of A Rampaging Demon is pretty middle of the road. On one hand, there are many elements that are genuinely great; namely the protagonist herself is an incredibly fun, unique and likable character, she has a strong voice that really distinguishes her and reflects her unique inhuman perspective well. She is charismatic and cute, which helps me connect with, and care about her and what happens in the story by proxy.
However this is inadvertently also an issue, as her excellent characterisation sharply contrasts with literally every other character. Outside the demon protagonist most characters are incredibly generic, and unmemorable, though some are adequately developed most feel redundant. Even the little characterisation these characters receive is not that interesting, at least in my opinion, and this becomes an issue because the narrative over time shifts to these supporting characters and away from the protagonist. Although she is the only reason to continue reading and the heart of the piece, she fades into the background, and, in the last few ten or so chapters, essentially disappears entirely from the story. The supporting cast is not interesting enough to support a narrative on their own.
Even discounting this drift away, the stories initial enjoyment starts deteriorating even sooner; the protagonists deep relational entanglement with these other characters already shifts much of the drama away from her internal to interpersonal conflicts in which the supporting cast is not strong enough to carry their half of the equation. Even worse, the protagonist starts acting more and more normal over time due to the influence of these relationships, whereas her unique and alien perspectiv
