Description
Our world was transformed overnight, and mysterious magical towers sprung up across the world, bridging our reality with the fantastical realm named Aetheria. These towers bestow ordinary people with extraordinary abilities, turning them into Players capable of traversing and conquering the dangers within.
Sam Carter, a 21-year-old who has endured the hardships of homelessness after monsters from the towers ravaged his life, is given a second chance. Living day-to-day as a corner store clerk he barely scrapes by until an unexpected message invites him to become a Player. As Sam delves into Aetheria he discovers his telekinetic abilities, beginning a journey from a kid with a terrible path in a dead-end job, to a formidable Player.
In this LitRPG adventure, follow Sam as he navigates treacherous dungeons, solves ancient puzzles, and battles fearsome creatures. Along the way, he must master his newfound powers, gather precious resources, and form alliances with fellow Players. Yet, the towers hold secrets far beyond mere magic and monsters—secrets that could alter the fate of both worlds.
Can Sam rise above his past, unlock the full potential of his seemingly weak abilities, and conquer the Towers? Or will he be consumed by the challenges that lie ahead?
[ Are you ready to become a Player? ]---------------------I roll on chances as listed in the System windows, likewise, I roll on chances to hit, miss and so on.This should bring a sense of realism to everything happening.---------------------ScheduleMind's Reach is now completed. Thank you all for your interest. :)
---------------------This is a litRPG with stats and skill explanations. I try not to go too hard on things lest they become a wall of text. Also, please note that in some cases, smaller changes to how the system works might change over time. It has been set up and developed, but experience or new ideas might have me make smaller changes.I'm not a professional with English as a secondary language, but I appreciate all the comments and aid.

- Continuity ManRoyal Road★★★★★ 5.0This was very interesting concept with a pretty compelling story to go with it. I had a good time reading it.
Criticisms will give some spoilers.
1. I am fine with Dia being a love interest but you seemed to be reluctant to commit to it so we got a half form thing that made it more awkward than it needed to be.
2. The system admin plot structure was very interesting and I think you could do a lot with it but you used it as a means to end the story. I like that the end was complete but it was a lot of wasted potential I think.
3. The pace of the story ramps up to quickly from the 75% mark to the end. Very good on sticking it out and completing the story that is a major hurdle for a lot of authors. However it did feel like you were done with this story so you put a bow on it and stepped away.
Thanks for the story, I hope others give it a chance. I also hope to inspiration hits you again and you explore some of the potential left on the table with this one. - DittyDaWittyRoyal Road★★★★★ 5.0Hoping this one continues since I'm enjoying it :)

I'm being forced out of bunch more words so here are more words words words and 50 - YaneznayoRoyal Road★★★★★ 5.0Only eight chapters in, but the potential of Sam's ability is already evident and, depending on how much control he gains, this power could become absurdly overpowered. The story's style is appealing, following the main character through his journey as a new player and learning the ropes in a straightforward manner. As a fan of the LitRPG genre, I find the system introduced in this story particularly intriguing and satisfying.
The narrative is engaging and the world-building is solid, keeping me hooked as Sam navigates his new reality. The progression of his skills and the unfolding of the game's mechanics are well-executed, making it easy to immerse myself in the story. The plot development is paced well, ensuring that there's always something new to discover or a challenge for Sam to overcome.
However, the story is not without its flaws. The grammar could use some improvement; there are occasional missing words or minor spelling mistakes that can be distracting. Despite these issues, the writing remains clear enough to follow, and it doesn't detract significantly from my enjoyment of the story.
Character development is another area that could be deepened. While Sam is a relatable and understandable protagonist, his motives and emotional depth could be explored more thoroughly. Often, the narrative simply states that Sam feels a certain way without delving into his internal thought processes or motivations.
Overall, this story holds a lot of promise, and I am eager to see how Sam's abilities develop and what heights he will achieve as the narrative progresses. Despite minor grammatical issues and some surface-level character development, the plot's potential and engaging system make it a worthwhile read. I look forward to continuing the journey with Sam and witnessing the full extent of his growth. - 1lyric4uRoyal Road★★★★ 4.0PRO
A main character who starts out weak and progresses to strong.
Creativity transforming a weakness into a strength.
Character growth.
Non-human party members.
Status windows, game-like powers and leveling.
Dungeons & Tower Climbing.
CON
The world feels a little vague starting out, but that limited viewpoint fits the MC's small place within it.
Early on a character may seem shady when they really aren't, showing how paranoid we as the readers truly are.
MC comes from a bottom of the barrel existence at the start, which is a little cliché for some.
Loot is Random!! So frustrating lol
SUMMARY
Overall a great read. The MC is decently intelligent, open and reasonably moral. He's creative with his powers and willing to learn from his mistakes. Those he associates with grow alongside him and contribute to the story. Every time the MC gains an ability he grows into it, no insta-power shenanigans here. Give it a read! - NotSharkNorSharkfoodRoyal Road★★★★ 4.0Some of the deaths at MCs 'hands' seem entirely unmotivated now. (Chapter 40). Maybe he recognises them as bad guys, (as opposed to innocent bystanders in the wrong place) and we're supposed to understand that, but I would prefer you making it more explicit why he decides that they need killing.
Otherwise I like the premise and the way you portrey the MC's confusion a unwillingness to get dragged into yet more adventures is great. - Charles SextonRoyal Road★ 1.0Started off fairly well detoured to some abysmmal island debacle totally out of character to the story. Then of course he had to turn it into a love starved anime geeks fantasy and sexually conquer a furry. Arggh, when will these harem-writers realize that it takes an actual knack to write that kind of fiction.
