While I generally find myself disinterested in narratives centered around overwhelmingly overpowered protagonists - largely due to the implausible power scaling and the often contrived narrative gymnastics required to present them with meaningful challenges - I was pleasantly surprised to find that this particular webnovel sidesteps those pitfalls. Despite the protagonist’s rapid and near-absurd accumulation of power, the story remains compelling. I attribute this primarily to the protagonist’s proactive nature. Rather than passively reacting to threats or relying solely on brute force, the main character actively engages with the world, making calculated decisions that drive the plot forward in a satisfying way.
Another notable strength lies in the novel’s descriptive prowess. The author’s prose vividly captures the setting and atmosphere, achieving a clarity often lacking in traditional xianxia works. This enhances immersion and provides a strong sense of place and mood.
If I were to voice a criticism, it would concern the system’s overwhelming power. While it adds to the sense of progression, its lack of meaningful drawbacks undermines narrative tension. A more balanced dynamic - perhaps introducing severe consequences if he is misunderstood by others - could have provided a more nuanced and engaging structure.

I’m not generally a fan of LitRPGs, but the premise for this one was interesting enough that I gave the story a try. I don’t regret it, it’s a very interesting take on the normal LitRPG formula. I actually like the RPG part, which is rare for me.
The story is also supported by fun characters. I like the MC’s outlook on things, immediately taking on a role and running with it. He’s not the most interesting character, but that’s forgivable because he’s literally acting as a stereotypical Xianxia character.
The writing and grammar are both great, I have had no issues with them. The author can be a bit wordy, but I like that.
I’m invested in the story, I can’t wait to see how far the MC’s bluffing can go.

An awesome story about an actor turned dying cultivator, turned reality breaking, and suave while doing it powerhouse. Super fun and all ive been able to read. Long packed chapters that are dense with detailed descriptions and world building that draw you in. Wonderful story that truly captivates you with how intricate it is, with a system that bends the rules of all logic. Refreshingly overpowered, tremendously fun and addicting read.

Really like the way this is going and really like the long chapters. I was sceptical of the premise at first but the author really pulled off the power by both showing its strength and not being an idiot about not using the power for some reason. The things he comes up with are really cool as well and I'm excited for more chapters!

    [Updated Review]
After reading an additional 10 chapters since my first review, I must stand by what I originally said. I'm still very much enthralled by this story and find myself rationing how much I read in fear I run out of chapters.
I'm a big fan of the descriptive storytelling and the care the author takes in setting the scenes. I also highly appreciate it when authors write characters who feel/act/sound believable. Our MC utilizes his abilities exactly as one would expect and I love being along for the ride as he figures out the limits of his abilities.
I can't wait to continue reading!

this novel is amazing.although I have only read around 14 ch,this cultivation story already promises to be unlike many of the cookie cutter, similiar ones that abound the xianxia genre. It is a breath of fresh air from the usual formulas that are usually present.I love this, and believe in time as it grows,it may even be one of my favorites.the only con i can find is the slight wordiness.it takes some getting used to.

Great story so far. Very wordy but it doesn’t fall into the trap of bland or lifeless descriptions to fluff the word count. I usually don’t like such drawn out stories but I enjoy this. The energy of the main character can be  infectious and fun. The power is fun. Truly the dao of bullshitting is the most powerful! If the premise sounds interesting but you don’t want to read because it’s to long give it a skim and see if you enjoy it. All in all I would recommend giving it a try!

Exactly as the title says. This is one of the best stories on RR in my opinion. The concept of a power giving the MC anything he can convince someone he has sounds like it would remove all the stakes, in reality that’s not true at all. The author does a really good job at keeping the story interesting with a lot of problems that can’t be solved necessarily with pure force.

A modern guy reincarnated in the body of a thrash young master and proceeds to kick ass, sounds like your average cultivator story. The way it is done though is amazing, the protagonist doesn't need rare ingredients, secret techniques or anything else. So far he fights with just his wits, actually the only fight was against some rando. Also the updates are consistent and chapters are pretty good size wise. Give it a read and you won't be disappointed.
