If you are looking for a series story, this may not be for you. It is rather wacky, despite what the blurb will assure you. If that isn't going to deter you, I would highly recommend giving this a shot. It's well-written, humorous, and well-paced, with a lot of interesting things occurring during the run of the story. The main character is the embodiment of that inner voice that you have when reading stories that wants the main character to use every cheat they can. A good read.

The synopsis doesn't do this story justice. neither do the other reviews. Basically, This story is about a society of gods/all-powerful beings, interacting with the world through systems. Or to be more specific, the reawoken all-powerful primordial god adapting att living in this society. Society isn't complex, but that allows for multiple enjoyable/funny moments.
I don't remember any grammar mistakes, and despite what some other reviews have mentioned. It doesn't evolve into another typical xianxia story, at least not until many chapters later, even then it still only does that because as a miny arc to gain a necessary power.
In my opinion, the first 2-5 chapters don't really show what the story is about or the humor, so if you read, read at least too chapters 8-10 to get a real idea about if the story and the humor in it are for you or not.

So this story has a bit of everything from action, slice of life, a tiny bit of romance and comedy. For the action author maintain tension even for an OP mc. Then for slice of life author maintains a dynamic cast of characters who interact with each other in fun ways. Finally, author really got a good grasp of comedic timing.
One problem is the abrupt ending which even though the main antagonist is dealt with. It still feels like there is a lot of loose threads.E.g.
the god of motions reaction, the divinities the pheogons and the rest of the characters got and what they did with them, the mysterious system that was being made by Vremya

What are you talking about? This is a completely serious novel. Seriously.
You won't find any sassy talking labradors here, gods of various table snacks, a user of a system in a far-off world that tragically died during his tribulation due to technical issues made by the oldest and greatest god. Not at all.
Read it. You're in for a ride.

A basic comment and rating for now while I catch up to the current chapters. This author is one of my favorites for comedy so I'm already giggling after two chapters. The petty passive aggressive comedy seems to be a specialty of the author and it always gets me to at least smile even on the worst days. I hope the author makes many more stories long into the future.

I only have twenty chapters to read before im caught up.
So far I must say that it has been very enjoyable and one of the better stories I have read, I had to stop myself from laughing when I started reading this late at night the other day.
I enjoy the characters, Vreyma with his weird hobbies, Azalea is fun to listen to. I hope to see more of the flower power garden quartet soon

First I would like to let you know that English is not my native language, so there will be errors.
I highly recommend this novel, if you enjoy reading it with a lot of humor and crazy things happening all the time.

This is an amazing story, I don't know how you incorporated dogs with snacks that are gods but it is so funny, I got to the new chapter 25 seconds after it was released, that was the funniest one, a cooking teacher that uses a whip, now that I funny.

A creative and original satirical story.
I have not laughed out loud like I have reading this story in years.
I highly recommend this story to anyone who has read a few system/xianxia novels before.
Lastly, thank you author for making me laugh more than any other novel I've read.

As far as I've read, Master of the System is quite entertaining and has gripped me more than some bigger fictions on this site! It's extremely strange but quite charming. Expect nothing less than an LSD trip going in, but a quirky and lovely one at that. So far at least, the RPG mechanics have been kept to a level that it doesn't interfere and they are actually used in hillarious ways, which is a plus. I can't say I've seen anything I haven't had distaste for besides maybe the use of time travel (which is fine when it's on this scale and to be expected when your MC is a god of time). Also the story is a little slow, which is fine for me, but others may turn away because of this.
Well deserving of those five shiny stars!
