- FreecellRoyal Road★★★ 2.5I'll start off by saying the tags are pretty off. Nothing to suggest a villainous or anti-hero lead for one. Nothing villainous or anti-heroic going on.
Spoilers coming up but the plot feels forced and is driven mainly by the MC's advisor in her mind making "oops ehehe" or "miscalculations" or other "forgot to tell you" moments that leads MC into more and more trouble or other situations like running straight to a fairy village to get a fairy foisted on her to keep an eye, transforming into a dead important character for more plot and complications, or absorbing something an important palace then fainting straightaway to cause suspicion, etc. All of these are caused by the advisor in her mind making miscalculations or screw up moments or forgetting to tell her important stuff.
This is not helped by the MC being far less useful than her mind advisor who she relies on for just about everything that happens in the plot so far. MC seems to serve as an inpotent fool to highlight the usefulness of her mind advisor. She just gets led by her nose to dive into more trouble and situations and even when offered a chance to improve her power, backs out due to fear of pain as well. Feels like the MC is just a container for the true MC of the story, the mind advisor. And of course even that "true MC" the advisor isn't that great a character since it's the one that screws up stuff to drive the plot.
Consider that this advisor is seemingly the product of her father's work which is great enough to let her survive the end of an entire freaking multiverse yet it keeps making screw up moments to drive all the major plot points so far, while MC just gets dragged along for the ride.
