Here, leveling isn’t a reward; it’s a fight for survival. You don’t gain skills by training. You earn them by killing monsters and ripping their powers out of their dying bodies.

Hunter doesn’t want to be a hero. He just wants to survive long enough to figure out what happened and maybe, just maybe, make peace with what he’s lost.
