- runiuriRoyal Road★★★★★ 5.0This is a great, great story! Listen, this story is what finally pushed me to create an account and write a review.
Main character, Fayette. I love her! One thing I love to see in characters is the vision and determination to be exactly what they want to be, and do exactly what they want to do. This is Fayette the maid, she hits things with her broom, she loves spicy food, she kills and cleans the trash, she protects her people and principles earnestly and without too many f***ks to spare about irrelevant opinions. She is an inspiration, an icon, and a very relatable, nuanced, human character.
Also, I don't know how intended this was... but the fact that Fayette is kind of OCD-coded was a really nice touch for me as an OCD person myself...
Anyhow, Mireille and Olivia are gems in their own right, the author really is so good at writing unique and charming characters, forming a team with a truly precious dynamic between them. I'm rooting for all of them to keep getting closer, and do more badassery *cleaning* together, hehe
And a hint of a blossoming queer relationship is just a cherry on top...
And I'm honestly more of a character-oriented reader, but the things Fayette and co are going around doing are kipping me on the edge of the seat. Things keep getting appropriately bigger in scale and higher in stakes, but there are still many fun little moments and specks of slice-of-life that make the big boss fights and serious scenes even better!
I'm never the one to think too much about style and grammar, but I'd say it's definitely good enough to keep the story flowing nicely!
And it's not that hard to keep my ocd adhd lazy brain stick with anything as it is, so the flow of this story must have been just right for me. Thank you author for writing something I could actually stick with from chapter to chapter, no skipping no jumping no skimming, for the first time in months.
Now, the story is on hiatus, but I'll be waiting as long as the author needs to recover, rest, fix - CampaspeLlamicornRoyal Road★★★★★ 5.0When you're a Maid, every problem is assisted by Cleaning
As someone who avoids cleaning whenever they can, this is as foreign and exotic to me as any cultivator fic. I love it. Go, Fayette! Workers of the world unite to deal with problems from shoddy environmental stewardship!!
It's really cute. I'm only on chap 28 but really enjoying so far. And it's nice to be able to binge it!! - DarkknightboyRoyal Road★★★★★ 5.0This is the kind of story I love.
The magic and system in this world works by perspective. So the MC is a little self deluded, and even a bit aware that she this, but doesn't care because she is using this to her advantage . And I love it. - DragonsAwayRoyal Road★★★★★ 5.0this is such a good novel ❤️, I had a great time reading it. I love the characters. I also really liked especially Fayette's character growth, and her ruthlessness despite that. I also like the way that all 4 of them are together because they've been displaced- Mirelle is displaced by nature of her job falling out of necessity, Fayette killed her boss and then kept killing, Olivia... everything. and Marie's rejection of her family's expectation of her combined with her lingering desire to prove herself to them.
- ThirdYearPeonyRoyal Road★★★★★ 5.0I hope you can continue Maid to Kill, I really enjoyed reading! I stayed up all night after reading Rock and regret nothing. I usually don’t really love supporting characters but they have really grown on me in terms of character development. You are a great writer and your worldbuilding is excellent. Hope to see Fayette’s adventures continue.
- TimiRoyal Road★★★★★ 5.0I like books that break the mold.
The MC is a maid that takes cleaning filth to another level. A violent almost religiously fanatic level.
The world is filthy and she's going to clean it, one way or another and I love it.
Some peeps said she was pyscopathic but I just think she's neurodivergent and a bit single minded, certainly not evil.
Plus her emotional growth towards the end of book 1 just made the book perfect - YsoldeRoyal Road★★★★★ 5.0This story is well written. The main protagonist and her co-protagonists feel like real people with real wants. The world structure is well done and it does not throw me off when a class is put in where it matters. So many other authors will over use the brackets and classes but this one uses them sparingly and thus makes them feel important and part of the story.
Just an amazing effort 5 stars! - ZafyrusRoyal Road★★★★★ 5.0I still miss you, Zechamp. Please return to bring us more Fayette!

But cleaning up corruption and monsters is cleaning, isn't it?
The story primarily follows Mirelle, our titled maid with a chunk of naïveté, but also brings along friends/allies for even more creative application of skills
System: classes pick skills in various categories, so even niche specializations retain some of the more general abilities. Thanks to this style, we can probably expect to retain creative use of skills - __Jesper__Royal Road★★★★★ 5.0The story has been great so far. The grammar and spelling are also top notch.
If a maid beating monsters and men to death with a broom in the name of 'cleaning' is up your alley then, by all means, go right ahead and read.
Don't know what else to write. I'm not good at reviews so that is all i've got. Hope this helps.
