John Mercer, Magician Extraordinaire, Master of Slight of Hand, Struggling Performer. He scrapes by performing street magic in a massive shopping mall, relying on charm, sleight of hand, and a bit of flair to earn just enough to get by. His routine is interrupted, however, when a sudden and terrifying event throws the mall into chaos—an incursion of deadly, alien-like creatures known as the Antithesis. As panic spreads, John finds himself trapped in a desperate fight for survival, forced to rely on his wits, agility, and a not insignificant amount of luck to escape the nightmare unfolding around him.
