Mage of Fire, Mage of Glass

When two travellers meet on the road to the city of Calth, neither of them are looking forward to arriving. Both have unwanted jobs to go to that they can't get out of, and both have things they'd much rather do.

But now, they both have each other as friends, and even just one friend can make things more bearable.

This is going to be a very slow, detailed slice-of-life story with a focus on character development and romance, but (probably) without on-screen sex, and very slow burn. This is a story I've had in my head for a very long time, and I'm going to take my time and see where it takes me. I've put a romance tag in place, but it's going to be first and foremost a progression and magic focused slice-of-life, though with romance happening as well. This is going to be sloooow, and though there will be magic progression (and other progression as well) at the moment this feels like it's going to be a friends to lovers story in a fantasy setting, with magic.
