Mage of Arcane Will [LitRPG]
Community Rating
Description
The gods foresaw the [Archdemon's] invasion. To prevent the world from being conquered, they gathered powerful souls that had the potential to become more than just humans. Reincarnated them among humans, the gods gave them a chance to grow and face the threat shoulder to shoulder with the support of the church.
Nick was an ordinary human in his past life, but when he reincarnated in a world of swords and magic, the first thing he wished for was to become a powerful mage. And feel all the shitty consequences of your decision.
Nick does not yet suspect that, together with other reincarnators and heroes of this era, they will have to support humanity's best hope for victory.
I promise a well thought out RPG system. I am not a native English speaker, but with each chapter I write I get better.
I'm currently editing the chapters, so if you're not ready for a crooked translation, you can wait until I finish it. I'm very sorry for that, but I can't do anything about it.

- DawnkeeperRoyal Road★★★★★ 5.0I really enjoyed reading this novel and found it almost on the day it came out. The author writes an interesting story with a system that makes sense and is balanced. In the first chapters, I can't fully appreciate the balance of the world, but I also like the fact that different classes have different requirements and that you won't get stuck with a class you don't need. The novel tells the story of more than one main character and I like that too. The fact that this world has a more thoughtful system than most LitRPGs brings me the most pleasure, and I advise the author to put the LitRPG tag on the title of the novel. There is an opportunity for development for all characters, but this is balanced by the fact that absolute no one can become a monster at the same time and get a high level in a class, thereby breaking the balance and killing all the old characters who are more than 200 hundred years old in just 10. But everything has its downsides, I don't like the grammar at all, since there were a lot of mistakes in the first chapters and I understand the author. He is not a master of English, for which he deserves great respect. Also, the writing style is lame, but overall the story deserves five stars.
- GodbirdRoyal Road★★★★★ 5.0I enjoyed reading it, but the first chapters weren't very good. There are problems with grammar. The plot is the only thing I like. After chapter 14, the approximate level of ordinary people became clear, which makes the main character stand out from them, but doesn't make him omnipotent. He really is under threat from ordinary people. I would give a separate plus for the balance of magical power. I'm tired of mages with infinite mana and divine control. In this novel, the mage treats mana as something that needs to be constantly saved and not spent on trifles. Interesting progression in classes. You can get the same classes, but then develop it into some special class. An interesting and well-thought-out world that really shows that wealth decides a lot and gives an undeniable advantage, unlike other novels. Where their clothes change, because more does not contribute to the main character. A well-thought-out limitation on the number of skills and a wide variety of requirements for different classes. I advise you to read it because the balance is well thought out here, and not just the main character wins because he is the main character. But I'm sure that in time it will be here too.
- TielongRoyal Road★★★★ 4.0I really like this story. The ideas are fresh and interesting.
There hasn't been much world building but what has been revealed so far is vibrant and fun.
The only thing bringing this story down is the grammar. I'm almost positive that this was written in Russian and ai translated to English. One sentence had so many "him" in it referencing both people that it took forever to read. Here is a single example.
Looking around the camp, he could indeed see that people had yesterday we lit a fire.
Other than some sentences being unintelligible the grammar is pretty good.
The story is mostly written from the viewpoint of the main character and he has a lot of knowledge about how reincarnation stories work but doesn't talk about it much. He is just trying to learn magic to the best of his ability.
The main character is annoying in that he doesn't show any emotion and views everything through the meta of reincarnation novels. He isn't a hero or a villain, he is just a guy trying his best to be over powered and have some fun. He is kind of a prick to people who are pricks first and probably hasn't heard the phrase "don't poke the bear" - GekyumeRoyal Road★★★ 3.0It reads like a machine translated work, but I don't think it actually is one.
Grammar is bearable at the start but is near unreadable at chapter 7.
Story wise, if you've read any reincarnation litrpg, you've read this already.
I don't want to keep saying bad stuff about it, but the word limit has to be filled.
I don't really hate the story, if you can translate mtl to english in your head then the story isn't that bad. I just don't recommend reading this.
Edit: author says he's going to be editing chapters to be more coherent. - Vivi112233Royal Road★★★ 3.0The plot is really interesting but there is many flaws. First of all the MC. Arrogant always complaining and falsly analytical. Author want us to think he's analysing his environement andnew world, but we dont fell it.
Second the grammar is well readable but can be improved. The author is aware of this flaw and is working on it already so that's great. And lastly it's slow but not in an entertaining way. Too many plots that leads to bothing too many moments the mc or mc's dont do anything for more than half a chapter.
That's for the bad parts. For the good ones, the plot is great the systeme is interesting balanced and well thought (but please stop making the characters say the frigging rarity of their class and skill like that commoner "common" that's fun the 5 first time but become really annoying. Make it be revealed by mc asking the question or using observe on it.)
