Machina and the Golden Eyes: A Progression Fantasy Adventure

Chuck is a normal teenager who dreams of normal teenage things: getting good grades, padding his college resumé, and trying not to look like an idiot in front of Meg Shaw, his best friend and--in his opinion, at least--the best-looking girl in his class. Where Chuck is book smart, Meg is street smart, more focused on going to the gym or practicing martial arts than trying to pass her math class. But when Meg shares a terrible secret, Chuck discovers mere survival is more important than getting into college. Overnight, Chuck is thrown into an underground world of nightmares, magic, and ancient lore, where his life is threatened at every turn. Soon, Chuck discovers that monsters don't care about his report card. If he wants to survive, he simply needs more bullets than the enemy.
